Abstract

ABSTRAK LATAR BELAKANG Pada era digitalisasi yang semakin kompleks ini, salah satu tindak pidana yang semakin berkembang adalah tindak pidana perdagangan orang (TPPO). Perdagangan orang ini menjadi suatu ancaman serius dalam hak asasi manusia. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah tindakan ini semakin berkembang adalah dengan mengidentifikasi para pelaku yang terlibat. TUJUAN Untuk melihat profil psikologis yang dimiliki oleh para pelaku TPPO dan mengetahui faktor yang melatarbelakangi tindakan pelaku METODE Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif naratif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes psikologi kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan Miles dan Huberman. Kriteria partisipan pada penelitian ini yaitu warga binaan pelaku tindak pidana perdangan orang (TPPO) yang berada di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II A Jambi. HASIL Penelitian menunjukan gambaran profil psikologis pelaku tindak pidana perdagangan orang yang dilihat dari karakteristik, tindakan kejahatan, metode kejahatan, modus operandi, kerja sama, persetujuan dan motif. Adapun faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi tindakan pelaku yaitu terdiri dari faktor ekonomi, lingkungan sosial, media sosial, dan hubungan dengan orang tua. KESIMPULAN Profil psikologis pada pelaku TPPO mengungkap hal yang melandasi perilaku tindakan TPPO tersebut. Pertama, adanya tingkat intelegensi yang rendah dari para partisipan dimana tingkat intelegensi ini dapat berpengaruh ketika partisipan akan menentukan tindakannya. Kedua, tindakan ini terjadi melalui aplikasi dan beberapa hotel yang sama. Ketiga, adanya usaha bujuk rayu yang dilakukan oleh partisipan. Keempat, adanya keinginan dan permintaan dari para PSK untuk terlibat dalam tindakan ini. ABSTRAK BACKGROUND In this increasingly complex era of digitalization, one of the criminal acts that is increasingly developing is the crime of human trafficking (TPPO). This human trafficking poses a serious threat to human rights. One effort to prevent this action from developing is to identify the perpetrators involved. OBJECTIVE To see the psychological profile of TIP perpetrators and find out the factors behind the perpetrator's actions METHOD This research uses a narrative qualitative method. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, documentation and psychological tests and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The criteria for participants in this research were inmates who had committed the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) who were in the Class II A Penitentiary in Jambi. RESULTS The research shows a picture of the psychological profile of perpetrators of criminal acts of human trafficking, seen from their characteristics, criminal acts, crime methods, modus operandi, cooperation, agreement and motives. The factors behind the perpetrator's actions consist of economic factors, social environment, social media, and relationships with parents. CONCLUSION The psychological profile of TPPO perpetrators reveals what underlies the behavior of TPPO. First, there is a low level of intelligence of the participants, where this level of intelligence can influence when the participants will determine their actions. Second, this action occurred through the same app and several hotels. Third, there is a persuasion effort made by the participant. Fourth, there is a desire and request from prostitutes to be involved in this action.
