Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Describe the description of Siamese orange farming 2) Analyze the costs, receipts and income obtained by Siamese orange farmers 3) Analyze the feasibility of Siamese orange farming in Keliling Danau District, Kerinci Regency. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded 1) Siamese orange farming in Keliling Danau District, Kerinci Regency is individual farming, the nature and style of orange farming is commercial farming, based on type, namely horticulture, based on patterns, namely some monocultures and some mixed. The process of cultivating Siamese oranges includes land processing, seeding, planting, maintenance as well as harvesting and post-harvest. Siamese orange farmers have their own land as a result of previous land conversion, the average spacing for Siamese oranges is 3 x 4 m2 with an average area of Siamese orange land of 0.32 Ha. 2) The largest variable cost is labor. Other variable costs are fertilizer, medicine, and use of crates, then fixed costs are equipment depreciation, where the highest depreciation cost is the depreciation cost of lawn machines. The average production cost incurred by farmers is IDR. 21,803,810/Year. The average receipt is IDR. 61,030,890/year, so the average income received by Siamese orange farmers is Rp. 39,227,080 / year. 3) Based on the R/C ratio value for Siamese orange farming of 2.80 or above 1, BEP revenue is IDR 35,698,666. BEP price obtained is IDR. 3,014 with an average selling price of Rp. 8,649/kg, where the selling price is above the break-even point, then Siamese orange farming in Keliling Danau District, Kerinci Regency is feasible to continue. Keywords: Farming, Revenue, Income, Feasibility, Siamese Orange ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan gambaran usahatani jeruk siam 2) Menganalisis biaya, penerimaan, dan pendapatan yang diperoleh petani jeruk siam 3) Menganalisis kelayakan usahatani jeruk siam di Kecamatan Keliling Danau Kabupaten Kerinci. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, maka dapat disimpulkan 1) Usahatani jeruk siam di Kecamatan Keliling Danau Kabupaten Kerinci adalah usahatani perseorangan, sifat dan corak usahatani jeruk yaitu usahatani komersial, berdasarkan tipe yaitu hortikultura, berdasarkan pola yaitu sebagian monokultur dan sebagian campuran. Proses budidaya jeruk siam meliputi pengolahan lahan, pembibitan, penanaman, pemeliharaan serta panen dan pasca panen. Petani jeruk siam memiliki lahan sendiri hasil alih fungsi lahan sebelumnya, rata-rata jarak tanam jeruk siam 3 x 4 m2 dengan rata-rata luas lahan jeruk siam sebesar 0,32 Ha. 2) Biaya variabel terbesar yaitu pada tenaga kerja. Biaya pengeluaran variabel lain yaitu pupuk, obat obatan, dan penggunaan peti, lalu biaya tetap yaitu penyusutan alat yang mana biaya penyusutan tertinggi adalah biaya penyusutan mesin rumput. Rata-rata biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan petani ialah sebesar Rp. 21.803.810/Tahun. Rata-rata penerimaan adalah sebesar Rp. 61.030.890/Tahun, sehingga rata-rata pendapatan yang diterima petani jeruk siam sebesar Rp. 39.227.080 /tahun. 3) Berdasarkan nilai rasio R/C usahatani jeruk siam sebesar 2,80 atau diatas 1, BEP penerimaan sebesar Rp.35.698.666. BEP harga diperoleh sebesar Rp. 3.014 dengan rata-rata harga jual Rp. 8.649/kg yang mana harga jual tersebut berada diatas titik impas, maka usahatani jeruk siam di Kecamatan Keliling Danau Kabupaten Kerinci layak untuk dilanjutkan.
