Abstract
Kumbang (Coleoptera) tergolong dalam Filum Arthropoda kelas Insekta. Kumbang tersebar di berbagai tipe habitat salah satunya di kawasan perairan yaitu danau. Danau Tangkas merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata alam di Provinsi Jambi. Danau Tangkas menjadi habitat habitat yang kondusif untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangbiakan kumbang karena kondisi habitat di sekitar Danau Tangkas tampak asri dan beragam. Namun Danau Tangkas adalah kawasan wisata, sehingga berpotensi mengalami perubahan yang dapat berdampak pada keanekaragaman kumbang. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman spesies, kelimpahan, dominansi dan kemerataan kumbang yang terdapat di kawasan Wisata Alam Danau Tangkas. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 4 titik lokasi dengan karakteristik habitat yang berbeda. Dibuat plot dengan ukuran 10 x 10 meter pada masing-masing habitat. Koleksi sampel dilakukkan dengan menggunakan pitfall trap, light trap, sweep net, hand collecting, dan floathing method. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan indeks keragaman spesies Shannon-Wiener, kelimpahan relatif, indeks dominansi Simpson, indeks kemerataan Shannon dan indeks pola distribusi Morisita. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di kawasan Wisata Alam Danau Tangkas, diperoleh sebanyak 868 individu, 16 spesies dan 10 famili Coleoptera. Sehingga diketahui tingkat keanekaragaman spesies Coleoptera di kawasan Danau Tangkas tergolong sedang dengan nilai sebesar 2,52. Indeks kemerataan kriteria kemerataan tinggi dengan nilai sebesar 0,91. Tingkat dominansi rendah yaitu 0,09. Kelimpahan relatif spesies yang tertinggi yaitu Altica chalybea dengan nilai sebesar 15,32% (133 individu). Pola distribusi spesies Coleoptera di kawasan Danau Tangkas yaitu berkelompok. Kata Kunci : Keanekaragaman, kumbang, danau tangkas. Beetles (Coleoptera) belong to the Philum Arthropoda class Insecta. Beetles are spread in various types of habitats, one of which is in the water area, namely the lake. Tangkas Lake is one of the natural tourism areas in Jambi Province. Tangkas Lake is a conducive habitat for beetle growth and breeding because the habitat conditions around Tangkas Lake look beautiful and diverse. However, Tangkas Lake is a tourist area, so it has the potential to experience changes that can have an impact on beetle diversity. The study aims to analyze the species diversity, abundance, dominance and evenness of beetles found in the Tangkas Lake Nature Tourism area. The type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Sampling was done using purposive sampling method. Sampling was carried out at 4 location points with different habitat characteristics. Plots were made with a size of 10 x 10 meters in each habitat. Sample collection was done using pitfall trap, light trap, sweep net, hand collecting, and floathing method. Data analysis techniques using the calculation of Shannon-Wiener species diversity index, relative abundance, Simpson's dominance index, Shannon's evenness index and Morisita distribution pattern index. The results of research that has been carried out in the Tangkas Lake Nature Tourism area, obtained as many as 868 individuals, 16 species and 10 families of Coleoptera. So it is known that the level of diversity of Coleoptera species in the Tangkas Lake area is classified as moderate with a value of 2.52. The evenness index of high evenness criteria with a value of 0.91. The dominance level is low at 0.09. The highest relative abundance of species is Altica chalybea with a value of 15.32% (133 individuals). The distribution pattern of Coleoptera species in the Tangkas Lake area is in groups.
