Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level mantangan yang terbaik dalam wafer ransum komplit (WRK) ditinjau dari mikroba bahan organik (MBO) di dalam rumen. Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari P0 = 60% Kolonjono + 0% Mantangan + 40% Konsentrat; P1 = 40% Kolonjono + 20% Mantangan + 40% Konsentrat; P2 = 20% Kolonjono + 40% Mantangan + 40% Konsentrat; dan P3 = 0% Kolonjono + 60% Mantangan + 40% Konsentrat. Bahan ditimbang sesuai proporsi di dalam perlakuan, dikukus selama 15 menit lalu dicetak menjadi WRK berdimensi diameter 10 cm, tinggi 4 cm dan berat ±150 g. Sebanyak 1 g sampel dari tiap perlakuan ditimbang ke dalam botol serum dan diinkubasi dengan anaerobik medium (48 ml larutan buffer + 12 ml cairan rumen) pada suhu 39˚C selama 72 jam. Residu disaring, ditentukan jumlah bahan organik (BO) tersisa dan digunakan untuk menghitung degradasi BO semu (DBO-semu). Residu botol lain direluks dengan neutral detergent solution (NDS), disaring dan diukur jumlah BO residu, lalu digunakan untuk menghitung DBO-sejati. MBO = DBO-sejati -DBO-semu. Analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap DBO-sejati dan MBO, tetapi tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap DBO-semu. Diperoleh hubungan linear antara level mantangan (X) dan DBO-sejati (Y = 0,7461x + 162,36; R² = 0,9875 dan MBO, (Y = 0,5771x + 31,932; 108x + 37, 351; R² = 0,943. Disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan level mantangan di dalam WRK, produksi MBO meningkat secara linier, dengan nilai MBO optimal diperoleh pada penggunaan 40% mantangan dan 20% kolonjono. This research aims to determine the best level of ex-gane in complete ration wafers (WRK) in terms of microbial organic matter (MBO) in the rumen. The research was carried out based on a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment consisted of P0 = 60% Kolonjono + 0% Mantangan + 40% Concentrate; P1 = 40% Kolonjono + 20% Mantangan + 40% Concentrate; P2 = 20% Kolonjono + 40% Mantangan + 40% Concentrate; and P3 = 0% Kolonjono + 60% Mantangan + 40% Concentrate. The ingredients are weighed according to the proportions in the treatment, steamed for 15 minutes and then molded into WRK with dimensions of 10 cm in diameter, 4 cm in height and weight ± 150 g. A total of 1 g of sample from each treatment was weighed into a serum bottle and incubated with anaerobic medium (48 ml buffer solution + 12 ml rumen fluid) at 39˚C for 72 hours. The residue is filtered, the amount of organic matter (BO) remaining is determined and used to calculate apparent BO degradation (pseudo-DBO). The residue from another bottle was reluxated with neutral detergent solution (NDS), filtered and the amount of residual BO was measured, then used to calculate the true DBO. MBO = true-DBO -pseudo-DBO. Analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on true-DBO and MBO, but not significantly (P>0.05) on pseudo-DBO. A linear relationship was obtained between the level of ex-gan (X) and true DBO (Y = 0.7461x + 162.36; R² = 0.9875 and MBO, (Y = 0.5771x + 31.932; 108x + 37, 351; R² = 0.943 It was concluded that increasing the level of exganer in the WRK, MBO production increased linearly, with optimal MBO values obtained when using 40% exgan and 20% kolonjono.
