Guru dan peserta didik harus memiliki kompetensi dan keterampilan 4C (critical thinking, collaborative, creativity, and communication) yaitu berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, kreativitas dan komunikasi. Dalam konteks pembelajaran, keterampilan berpikir kritis butuh dikembangkan. Untuk itu perlu dilatihkan kerterampilan berpikir kritis dalam penyesuaian pengembangan pola pikir peserta didik agar lebih optimal. Pembelajaran perlu dirancang sedemikian rupa sehingga mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang aktif, mandiri, dan mampu membangun pengetahuannya masing-masing. Melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) siswa dibimbing untuk mengkonstruk pengetahuannya sendiri sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Minimnya media pembelajaran berbasis PBL pada materi perubahan ekosistem untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, membuat guru kesulitan dalam menyiapkan media pembelajaran dan menyampaikan pembelajaran di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap guru dan siswa di SMA N 3 Kota Jambi pada kelas X MIPA, pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi perubahan ekosistem untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, masih sangat dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi perubahan ekosistem untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, mengetahui kelayakan, penilaian guru dan peserta didik, serta efektifitas dari E-LKPD yang dikembangakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi diperoleh persentase 96% dengan kategori sangat layak. Selanjutnya hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh persentase 96,7% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil penilaian guru biologi diperoleh persentase 98% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil ujicoba untuk melihat respon peserta didik pada kelompok kecil diperoleh persentase 94% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan ujicoba pada kelompok besar diperoleh persentase 94,13% dengan kategori sangat baik. Pada hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan uji paired sample t test, diperoleh nilai Sig. (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi perubahan ekosistem dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Dengan demikian E-LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi perubahan ekosistem yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media ajar dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. In the learning context, critical thinking skills need to be developed. For this reason, it is necessary to train critical thinking skills in adjusting the development of students' thinking patterns so that they are more optimal. Learning needs to be designed in such a way that it is able to produce students who are active, independent, and able to build their own knowledge. Through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, students are guided to construct their own knowledge so that learning becomes more meaningful. The lack of PBL-based learning media on ecosystem change material to improve critical thinking skills makes it difficult for teachers to prepare learning media and deliver learning in class. Based on the results of observations of teachers and students at SMA N 3 Jambi City in class X MIPA, the development of E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on ecosystem change material to improve students' critical thinking skills is still very much needed. This research aims to develop PBL-based E-LKPD on ecosystem change material to improve students' critical thinking skills, determine feasibility, teacher and student assessments, as well as the effectiveness of the E-LKPD developed to improve students' critical thinking skills. This research includes development research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The types of data for this research are qualitative and quantitative. The validation results from material experts obtained a percentage of 96% with a very feasible category. Furthermore, the media expert validation results obtained a percentage of 96.7% with a very feasible category. The biology teacher's assessment results obtained a percentage of 98% in the very good category. The results of trials to see the responses of students in small groups obtained a percentage of 94% in the very good category, and trials in large groups obtained a percentage of 94.13% in the very good category. In the results of the effectiveness test using the paired sample t test, the Sig value was obtained. (2 tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that there is an influence of using PBL-based E-LKPD on ecosystem change material in improving students' critical thinking skills. Thus, the PBL-based E-LKPD on ecosystem change material developed is suitable for use as a teaching medium and can improve students' critical thinking skills.
