Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh lama penyimpanan wafer ransum komplit (WRK) berbasis mantangan terhadap degradasi bahan kering (DBK), degradasi bahan organik (DBO) dan mikroba bahan organik (MBO) di dalam rumen diukur secara in vitro. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) digunakan untuk membandingkan pengaruh lama penyimpanan (0, 30, 60 dan 90 hari). WRK tersusun atas 44% mantangan, 16% kolonjono dan 40% konsentrat. Kedua bahan pakan hijauan dicacah dengan ukuran 2-3 cm kemudian dijemur dan digiling dengan ukuran 1 mm, lalu dicampur dengan konsentrat sesuai proporsi dan diaduk hingga homogen. Campuran selanjutnya dikukus selama 15 menit dan dicetak menggunakan press wafer. WRK dibuat bulat pipih dengan ukuran diameter 10 cm, tinggi 3 cm dan lingkaran 31,4 cm sehingga menghasilkan berat ±178 g. WRK disimpan sesuai perlakuan. Pada akhir setiap periode penyimpan, 1 g sampel ditimbang ke dalam botol serum dan diinkubasikan dengan 40 ml anaerobik medium (32 ml buffer + 8 ml cairan rumen) pada suhu 39˚C selama 72 jam. Analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan (lama penyimpanan) tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) terhadap DBO-semu, tetapi berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap DBK, DBO-sejati dan MBO. Dari uji Polynomial orthogonal diperoleh hubungan linear antara lama penyimpan dan DBK (Y = 0,0002 x3 – 0,0287x2 + 0,7149x + 41,425; R2= 1), DBO-sejati (Y = -0,0029x2 + 0,383x + 66,438; R2 = 0,8624) MBO (Y = - 0,0,313X + 50,176; R2= 0,2455) dan MN (Y = -0,0022x2 + 0,3193x +24,359; R2 = 0,87,02). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa WRK dapat disimpan hingga 79 hari pada perlakuan mikroba nitrogen yang memberikan nilai tertinggi yaitu 38,02 MN (g N/kg DBO) This study aims to evaluate the effect of storage time for ex-gane-based complete ration wafers (WRK) on dry matter degradation (DBK), organic matter degradation (DBO) and microbial organic matter (MBO) in the rumen measured in vitro. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used to compare the effect of storage time (0, 30, 60 and 90 days). WRK is composed of 44% exgan, 16% kolonjono and 40% concentrate. The two forage ingredients are chopped to a size of 2-3 cm, then dried in the sun and ground to a size of 1 mm, then mixed with concentrate according to the proportions and stirred until homogeneous. The mixture is then steamed for 15 minutes and molded using a wafer press. The WRK is made round and flat with a diameter of 10 cm, a height of 3 cm and a circle of 31.4 cm, resulting in a weight of ±178 g. WRK is stored according to treatment. At the end of each storage period, 1 g of sample was weighed into a serum bottle and incubated with 40 ml of anaerobic medium (32 ml buffer + 8 ml rumen fluid) at 39˚C for 72 hours. Analysis of variance showed that the treatment (storage time) had no significant effect (P>0.05) on pseudo-DBO, but had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on DBK, true-DBO and MBO. From the orthogonal polynomial test, a linear relationship was obtained between storage time and DBK (Y = 0.0002 ; R2 = 0.8624) MBO (Y = - 0.0.313X + 50.176; R2 = 0.2455) and MN (Y = -0.0022x2 + 0.3193x +24.359; R2 = 0.87.02). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that WRK can be stored for up to 79 days in microbial nitrogen treatment which gives the highest value, namely 38.02 MN (g N/kg DBO)
