Abstract
Kegiatan alih fungsi lahan seperti perambahan, kebakaran hutan dan lahan menyebabkan peningkatan luas lahan terbuka sehingga mempengaruhi distribusi suhu permukaan. Semakin jarang tutupan vegetasi maka semakin tinggi suhu permukaan lahan, dan sebaliknya semakin rapat tutupan vegetasi maka semakin rendah suhu permukaan lahan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Menganalisis perubahan tutupan lahan di DAS Merangin Tembesi periode 2018 dan 2022. (2) Menganalisis perubahan suhu permukaan di DAS Merangin Tembesi periode 2018 dan 2022. (3) Menganalisis hubungan antara perubahan tutupan lahan terhadap suhu permukaan di DAS Merangin Tembesi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara groundcheck data observasi langsung lapangan untuk memverifikasi data tutupan lahan dan suhu permukaan. Data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan aplikasi spasial. Data citra didownload dari situs web http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov (USGS). Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ditemukan bahwa : 1. Dinamika tutupan lahan di DAS Merangin Tembesi mengalami perubahan tutupan lahan dalam kurun waktu tahun pengamatan 2018 dan 2022, terjadi peningkatan tutupan lahan yang signifikan pada tutupan lahan pertanian lahan kering campuran dan penurunan tutupan lahan yang signifikan pada tutupan lahan perkebunan. Dimana tutupan lahan pertanian lahan kering campuran bertambah seluas 165.531,71 Ha, sedangkan tutupan lahan perkebunan berkurang seluas 87.859,29 Ha. 2. Hasil analisis Land Surface Temperature (LST) menunjukkan telah terjadi perubahan suhu permukaan di DAS Merangin Tembesi. Tahun 2018 menunjukkan bahwa sebaran kelas suhu permukaan yang dominan adalah 25-29°C dengan luas 797.971,1 Ha, kemudian pada tahun 2022 kelas suhu yang dominan terdapat pada suhu >30°C dengan luas 534.993,08 Ha. Hal ini sejalan dengan perubahan tutupan lahan yang berkurangnya luas tutupan lahan hutan dan bertambahnya luas lahan pertanian lahan kering campuran. 3. Perubahan tutupan lahan menyebabkan perubahan suhu permukaan. Perubahan dari hutan primer menjadi pertanian lahan kering campuran berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan suhu permukaan dan perubahan tutupan lahan dari lahan terbuka menjadi pertanian lahan kering campuran cenderung mengakibatkan penurunan suhu permukaan. Land use change activities such as encroachment, forest and land fires cause an increase in open land area, thus affecting the distribution of surface temperature. The sparser the vegetation cover, the higher the land surface temperature, and conversely the denser the vegetation cover, the lower the land surface temperature. The objectives of this study are: (1) Analyse land cover changes in the Merangin Tembesi watershed for the period 2018 and 2022. (2) Analysing changes in surface temperature in the Merangin Tembesi watershed for the period 2018 and 2022. (3) Analysing the relationship between land cover change and surface temperature in Merangin Tembesi watershed. The research method used in this study is by groundchecking direct field observation data to verify land cover and surface temperature data. The data obtained was processed using spatial applications. Image data was downloaded from the website http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov (USGS). Based on the results and discussion of the research, it was found that: 1. The dynamics of land cover in the Merangin Tembesi watershed experienced changes in land cover in the 2018 and 2022 observation years, there was a significant increase in land cover in mixed dryland agricultural land cover and a significant decrease in land cover in plantation land cover. Where mixed dryland agricultural land cover increased by 165,531.71 Ha, while plantation land cover decreased by 87,859.29 Ha. 2. The results of the Land Surface Temperature (LST) analysis show that there have been changes in surface temperature in the Merangin Tembesi watershed. The year 2018 shows that the dominant surface temperature class distribution is 25-29°C with an area of 797,971.1 Ha, then in 2022 the dominant temperature class is >30°C with an area of 534,993.08 Ha. This is in line with changes in land cover that reduce the area of forest land cover and increase the area of mixed dryland agricultural land. 3. Land cover change causes changes in surface temperature. Changes from primary forest to mixed dryland agriculture contribute to an increase in surface temperature and land cover changes from open land to mixed dryland agriculture tend to result in a decrease in surface temperature.
