Abstract

Latar Belakang : Berdasarkan data epidemiologi indonesia bahwa 66,3% dari 97% kasus merupakan dermatitis kontak iritan. Data dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jambi pada tahun 2020 persentase dermatitis kontak sebesar 4,98% dan pada tahun 2022 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5,96%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan gejala dermatitis kontak pada petugas sortir di TPA Talang Gulo Kota Jambi Tahun 2024. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Teknik yang digunakan pada sample penelitian ini adalah total sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi, variable penelitian di analisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil : Dari hasil penelitian ini gejala dermatitis kontak pada petugas sortir dengan kategori yang bergejala sebanyak 12 % dan yang tidak bergejala sebanyak 70%. Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan gejala dermatitis kontak pada petugas sortir di TPA Talang gulo adalah kebersihan kulit (p value = 0,000), personal hygiene (p value = 0,001), dan kebersihan pakaian (p value = 0,003) dan yang tidak berhubungan gejala dermatitis kontak, kebiasaan penggunaan APD (p value = 0,142). Kesimpulan : Didapatkan bahwa kebersihan kulit, personal hygiene, dan kebersihan pakaian berhubungan dengan gejala dermatitis di TPA Talang Gulo Kota Jambi. Kata Kunci : Dermatitis kontak, Petugas sortir Background : Based on Indonesian epidemiological data, 66.3% of 97% of cases are irritant contact dermatitis. Data from the Jambi Provincial Health Service in 2020, the percentage of contact dermatitis was 4.98% and in 2022 it will increase by 5.96%. The aim of this research is to determine the factors associated with symptoms of contact dermatitis in sorting officers at Talang Gulo TPA, Jambi City in 2024. Method : This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional study design. The technique used in this research sample was total sampling, the sample size was 40 respondents. The research instruments used questionnaires and observation sheets, research variables were analyzed univariately and bivariately with the chi-square test. Result : From the results of this study, the symptoms of contact dermatitis in sorting officers were 12% symptomatic and 70% asymptomatic. Factors related to symptoms of contact dermatitis in sorting officers at Talang Gulo TPA were skin cleanliness (p value = 0.000), personal hygiene (p value = 0.001), and cleanliness of clothing (p value = 0.003) and those that were not related to dermatitis symptoms contact, habit of using APD (p value = 0.142). Conclusion : It was found that skin cleanliness, personal hygiene, and cleanliness of clothing were related to symptoms of dermatitis at Talang Gulo TPA, Jambi City.
