Abstract

Pembangunan Gedung baru membutuhkan analisis kerentanan tanah dan lapisan bawah permukaan di Gedung B Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Jambi. Untuk melakukan analisis kerentanan tanah dan lapisan bawah permukaan maka diterapkan metode HVSR dalam pengukuran mikrotremor dan metode seismik refraksi dalam penentuan litologi bawah permukaan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Nilai frekuensi natural (f0) berkisar antara 0,93-1,82 Hz, nilai faktor amplifikasi (A0) berkisar antara 1,06 - 3,28 kali dan nilai indeks kerentanan seismik (kg) berkisar antara 0,630335 sampai 5,948834 x 10-6 s2/cm. nilai frekuensi < 2,5 HZ termasuk jenis tanah IV dan tipe tanah II. faktor amlifikasi termasuk klasifikasi rendah (A < 3) sampai sedang (3 ≤ A < 6). Faktor amplifikasi rendah sampai sedang menunjukkan batuan penyusunnya bersifat kompak/keras. Indeks Kerentanan Seismik termasuk kategori rendah (kg<3) sampai sedang (3<kg<6). Indeks kerentanan seismik dengan klasifikasi tanah rendah sampai sedang artinya tanah apabila terjadi guncangan tidak terjadi kerusakan karena nilai kerentanan sedang – rendah. Sedangkan nilai kecepatan rambat gelombang seismik diperoleh berupa soil, pasir dan lempung. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut, bahwa dapat disimpulkan tanah di sekitar gedung Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi tergolong masih aman terhadap guncangan. The construction of a new building requires an analysis of the vulnerability of the soil and subsurface layers in Building B, Faculty of Science and Technology, Jambi University. To carry out an analysis of the vulnerability of the soil and subsurface layers, the HVSR method was applied to measure microtremors and the seismic refraction method was applied to determine subsurface lithology. The results obtained are the natural frequency value (f0) ranging between 0.93-1.82 Hz, the amplification factor value (A0) ranging between 1.06 - 3.28 times and the seismic vulnerability index value (kg) ranging between 0.630335 up to 5.948834 x 10-6 s2/cm. Frequency values < 2.5 HZ include soil type IV and soil type II. amplification factors include low (A < 3) to moderate (3 ≤ A < 6) classifications. A low to moderate amplification factor indicates that the rock that composes it is compact/hard. The Seismic Vulnerability Index is in the low (kg<3) to medium (3<kg<6) category. The seismic vulnerability index with the soil classification is low to medium, meaning that if a shock occurs there will be no damage because the vulnerability value is medium - low. Meanwhile, seismic wave propagation speed values are obtained in the form of soil, sand and clay. Based on these parameters, it can be concluded that the land around the Faculty of Science and Technology building is still classified as safe from shocks.
