Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi perempuan pekerja seks komersial dalam film dokumenter Wadon Ora Didol menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa klausa dan kalimat yang merepresentasikan perempuan pekerja seks komersial (PSK). Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah film dokumenter Wadon Ora Didol. Sumber kedua data dalam penelitian ini adalah referensi dari berbagai sumber terkait dengan film dokumenter Wadon Ora Didol. Data diperoleh dari hasil transkripsi film dokumenter Wadon Ora Didol yang diklasifikasikan berdasarkan fitur linguistik penegasian dan fitur linguistik modalitas. Hasil penelitian pada dimensi teks ditemukan 55 data fitur linguistik terdiri dari 27 data fitur penegasian dan 28 data fitur modalitas. Berdasarkan analisis pada praktik diskursus watchdoc menunjukan keberpihakannya kepada para perempuan pekerja seks komersial (PSK), akan tetapi dalam hal ini watchdoc tidak membenarkan praktik prostitusi yang terjadi. Watchdoc memperlihatkan keprihatinan terhadap keadaan tersebut. Melalui film tersebut watchdoc bersama pamflet generasi muda dan women march Indramayu ingin menegaskan bahwa perempuan bukanlah alat untuk memperoleh kekayaan. Perempuan tidak dijual. Watchdoc memandang PSK sebagai korban dari tumpang tindihnya ekonomi. Secara sosio-kultural ditemukan bahwa cikal bakal prostitusi dan pernikahan anak didasarkan pada budaya masyarakat Indramayu yang menganggap anak perempuan adalah aset yang bisa membawa perubahan di masa depan. Dalam investigasinya anak-anak muda Indramayu melakukan penelusuran ke tempat-tempat prostitusi untuk mengetahui praktik prostitusi di Indramayu. Melalui film ini anak-anak muda Indramayu ingin mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai hak-hak seorang anak dengan harapan dapat membawa perubahan pada pola pikir masyarakat khususnya di Indramayu. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa klausa dan kalimat yang merepresentasikan perempuan pekerja seks komersial (PSK). The second source of data in this research is references from various sources related to the documentary film Wadon Ora Didol. Data was obtained from the transcription of the documentary film Wadon Ora Didol which was classified based on linguistic features of negation and linguistic features of modality. he results of research on text dimensions found 55 linguistic feature data consisting of 27 negation feature data and 28 modality feature data. Based on an analysis of the watchdoc's discourse practices, it shows its side towards female commercial sex workers (PSK), but in this case the watchdoc does not condone the prostitution practices that occur. The watchdoc expresses concern about the situation. Through this watchdoc film together with pamphlets from the younger generation and the Indramayu women's march, they want to emphasize that women are not tools for obtaining wealth. Women are not for sale. Watchdoc views prostitutes as victims of overlapping economies. Socio-culturally, it was found that the origins of prostitution and child marriage were based on the culture of the Indramayu people who considered girls to be assets that could bring change in the future. n their investigation, young people from Indramayu carried out searches in prostitution places to find out about prostitution practices in Indramayu. Through this film, the young people of Indramayu want to educate the public about the rights of children in the hope of bringing change to the mindset of the people, especially in Indramayu.
