Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan dosis bokashi kotoran kambing dan jenis mulsa terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai keriting (Capsicum Annuum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 5 bulan dari bulan Agustus sampai Desember 2023 di lahan Teaching and research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi, yang berlokasi di Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Provinsi Jambi dengan ketinggian ± 35 mdpl. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor. Faktor yang pertama adalah dosis Bokashi kotoran Kambing yaitu (B) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu B₁ : Bokashi Kotoran Kambing 10 ton.ha-1 , B1: Bokashi Kotoran Kambing 20 ton.ha-1, B2: Bokashi Kotoran Kambing 30 ton.ha-1 dan Faktor yang kedua adalah Mulsa (M) yang terdiri atas 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu M0 : Tanpa Mulsa , M1 : Mulsa Jerami dan M2 : Mulsa Plastik Hitam Perak. Dari kedua faktor tersebut diperoleh 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga secara keseluruhan menghasilkan 27 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 12 tanaman, sehingga diperoleh jumlah tanaman Cabai Merah yaitu 324 tanaman. Sampel yang diambil dalam setiap unit percobaan adalah 3 sampel. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), ), umur Mulai Berbunga (HST),, umur Mulai panen (HST), Jumlah Buah, Berat Buah Per Tanaman (g) dan Berat per Buah (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian interaksi antara Dosis Bokashi Kotoran Kambing dan Jenis Mulsa mampu mempengaruhi umur mulai berbunga dan umur mulai panen tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) varietas loker. Bokashi Kotoran Kambing dengan dosis 30 ton ha-1 mampu mempengaruhi umur mulai berbunga,umur mulai panen, jumlah buah per tanaman,bobot buah per tanaman dan bobot per buah tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annum L.) dan Mulsa Plastik Hitam perak mampu mempercepat umur mulai berbunga dan umur mulai panen tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.). Kata kunci: bokashi kotoran kambing, jenis mulsa, cabai merah This study was conducted with the aim of determining and obtaining the best dose of goat manure bokashi and mulch types for the growth and yield of curly chili plants (Capsicum Annuum L.). This study was conducted for 5 months from August to December 2023 on the Teaching and Research Farm land of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi, located in Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province with an altitude of ± 35 meters above sea level. The research design used in this study was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors. The first factor is the dose of Goat Manure Bokashi, namely (B) which consists of 3 levels, namely B₁: Goat Manure Bokashi 10 tons.ha-1, B1: Goat Manure Bokashi 20 tons.ha-1, B2: Goat Manure Bokashi 30 tons.ha-1 and the second factor is Mulch (M) which consists of 3 levels of treatment, namely M0: Without Mulch, M1: Straw Mulch and M2: Black Silver Plastic Mulch. From these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained with 3 repetitions, so that overall it produced 27 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 12 plants, so that the number of Red Chili plants was 324 plants. The samples taken in each experimental unit were 3 samples. The variables observed were plant height (cm), ), Age of Flowering (DAP), Age of Harvesting (DAP), Number of Fruits, Fruit Weight Per Plant (g) and Weight per Fruit (g). The results of the study showed that the provision of Results of the study showed that the provision of interaction between the Dose of Goat Manure Bokashi and the Type of Mulch was able to affect the age of flowering and the age of harvest of red chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.) of the Loker variety. Goat Manure Bokashi with a dose of 30 tons ha-1 was able to affect the age of flowering, the age of harvest, the number of fruits per plant, the weight of fruit per plant and the weight per fruit of red chili plants (Capsicum annum L.) and Black Silver Plastic Mulch was able to accelerate the age of flowering and the age of harvest of red chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.).
