Abstract

This research was conducted in coastal areas of east jabung by choosing jabung east coast headlands district as a representative case. The research is study croos crosectional using data primary while test statistic used is test statistika non parametric namely test a correlation coefficient the spearman. As for the purpose of this research is to assess consumption patterns , food security and factor-faktor that affects food security households fishermen in district east tanjung jabung . This research result indicates that ( 1 ) basic foodstuffs source of energy and protein most frequently consumed by the family members of group rice ( 100 percent ) . Food source of vegetable food ( 65,7 percent ) most frequently consumed is of a kind of foodstuffs know , producers , and vegetables. While food source of a group of food animal are type eggs ( 63,1 percent ) , a chicken ( 65,3 percent ) and fish ( 77,8 percent ) .(2) The average level of sufficiency consumption energy households have met standards energy income tax who advised namely 2.634,65 kkal/capita/day from 2.000 kkal /capita/day. But the average of consumption of protein households still not enought in a standard level income tax of 54,054 /capita/grams/day just enought of 48,43 gram/capita/day. Factor area of land , income , the level of education , expenditure have had a positive impact and real , while age and the number of family members influential negative and real to consumption patterns and food security households Keywords : Consumption, Food, Food Security
