Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi besar untuk melakukan pengembangan pada pemanfaatan panas bumi yang dimilikinya. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini berlokasi di Desa Talang Kemuning, Kecamatan Bukit Kerman, Kabupaten Kerinci, Provinsi. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi tersebut dilakukan upaya eksplorasi guna menemukan sumberdaya baru untuk dilakukan eksploitasi. Daerah penelitian secara geologi dilewati oleh busur gunung api yang mengindikasikan terdapatnya potensi panas bumi dan Sesar Sumatra dari Segmen Dikit yang diinterpretasikan sebagai pengontrol munculnya manifestasi panas bumi kepermukaan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi geologi yang meliputi geomorfologi, struktur geologi dan stratigrafi serta mengetahui manifestasi panas bumi pada daerah penelitian, tidak hanyaitu, dilakukan juga analisis geokimia untuk mengetahui tipe fluida pada air panas bumi tersebut. Metode penelitian analisis pola sebaran manifestasi meliputi suhu udara, suhu fluida, Ph, debit, Total Dissolved Solid dan Daya Hantar Listrik dari data tersebut di analisis sehingga dari data tersebut di dapatkan tipe manifestasi panas bumi pada daerah penelitian. Selanjutnya, hasil analisa geokimia fluida telah dilakukan guna mengetahui karakteristik fluida panas bumi, asal usul fluida panas bumi, tingkat kesetimbangan fluida panas bumi. Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan fluida panas bumi daerah penelitian masuk kedalam tipe bikarbonat yang berasal dari reservoir panas bumi dan berada pada kondisi immature waters yang mengindikasikan bahwa fluida tersebut telah mengalami pelarutan mineral sebelum mencapai titik kesetimbangannya. Kata kunci: Analisis Pola Sebaran Manifestasi Panas Bumi, Manifestasi Panas Bumi, Panas Bumi. Indonesia has great potential to develop the use of its geothermal energy. The research carried out was located in Talang Kemuning Village, Bukit Kerman District, Kerinci Regency. Jambi Province. To meet these energy needs, exploration efforts are carried out to find new resources for exploitation. The research area is geologically crossed by volcanic arc which indicate the presence of geothermal potential and the Sumatran Fault of the Dikit Segment which is interpreted as controlling the emergence of geothermal manifestations on the surface. The aim of this research is to determine the geological conditions which include geomorphology, geological structure and stratigraphy as well as knowing the geothermal manifestations in the research area. Not only that, geochemical analysis is also carried out to determine the type of fluid in the geothermal water. The research method for analysis of manifestation spread patterns includes air temperature, fluid temperature, Ph, discharge, Total Dissolved Solid and Electrical Conductivity. The data is analyzed so that from the data the type of geothermal manifestation in the research is obtained. Furthermore, the result of geochemical fluid analysis have been carried out to determine the characteristics of geothermal fluids, the origin of geothermal fluids, and the equilibrium level of geothermal fluids. The results of the analysis show fluid in the research area is of the bicarbonate type originating from geothermal reservoirs and is in an immature waters condition, which indicates that the fluid has experienced mineral dissolution before reaching its equilibrium point.
