Abstract
Community Based Tourism (CBT) menjadi acuan untuk mengelola dan memajukan pariwisata yang lebih mengutamakan kepentingan masyarakat. Ekowisata hutan mangrove Pangkal Babu Pariwisata yang pengelolaannya melibatkan masyarakat Pangkal Babu yang direalisasikan dengan membentuk kelompok sadar wisataTungkal Satu. menarik untuk diteliti karena pengelolaan ekowisata hutan mangrove belum maksimal hal ini disebabkan keterbatasan Sumber Daya Manusia yang trampil, masyarakat yang kurang berpartisipasi, belum terjadinya pertukaran budaya serta infrastruktur yang belum memadai. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui upaya penerapan prinsip Community Based Tourism (CBT) dalam pengelolaan ekowisata hutan mangrove Pangkal Babu dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempegaruhi keberhasilan atau kegagalan dalam upaya penerapan konsep Community Based Toursm (CBT) dalam pengelolaan ekowisata hutan mangrove Pangkal Babu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data skunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) ekowisata hutan mangrove Pangkal Babu dalam pengelolaannya telah melakukan upaya penerapan prinsip community based tourism, namun dalam implementasinya masih belum sempurna, masih terdapat beberapa indikator yang belum terpenuhi berdasarkan 10 prinsip yang diusung oleh UNEP dan WTO, (2) faktor anggaran, sumber daya manusia dan kebudayaan menjadi hambatan dalam upaya penerapan prinsip community based tourism dalam pengelolaan ekowisata hutan mangrove Pangkal Babu. Community Based Tourism (CBT) is a reference for managing and advancing tourism that prioritizes the interests of the community. Pangkal Babu mangrove forest ecotourism Tourism whose management involves the Pangkal Babu community is realized by forming the Tungkal Satu tourism awareness group. It is interesting to research because the management of mangrove forest ecotourism has not been optimal, this is due to limited skilled human resources, a lack of community participation, the lack of cultural exchange and inadequate infrastructure. This research was conducted to determine efforts to apply Community Based Tourism (CBT) principles in the management of Pangkal Babu mangrove forest ecotourism and to find out what factors influence the success or failure in efforts to apply the Community Based Tourism (CBT) concept in Pangkal Babu mangrove forest ecotourism management Babu. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, where data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data sources used in this research include primary data and secondary data. The results of this research show: (1) Pangkal Babu mangrove forest ecotourism in its management has made efforts to implement the principles of community based tourism, but its implementation is still not perfect, there are still several indicators that have not been met based on the 10 principles promoted by UNEP and WTO, (2 ) budget, human resources and cultural factors are obstacles in efforts to apply the principles of community based tourism in the management of Pangkal Babu mangrove forest ecotourism.
