Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud guna: 1) menganalisis kondisi pertumbuhan ekonomi, jumlah pengangguran dan IPM, pada kemiskinan di kab/kota Provinsi Jambi. 2) menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi, jumlah pengungguran dan IPM, pada kemiskinan di kab/kota Provinsi Jambi. Metode analisis yang dipilih pada penelitian ini yakni analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif. Data yang disusun pada penelitian ini yakni data tahun dari 2017-2022. Metode analisis yang dipilih yakni analisis regresi data panel. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan 1) sepanjang periode penelitian dari tahun 2017-2022 Kondisi Jumlah Penduduk Miskin tertinggi terjadi pada Provinsi Jambi yakni sebesar 293,860 jiwa, yang terjadi pada tahun 2021. Sedangkan kondisi terendahnya ditemukan pada Kota Sungai Penuh yakni sejumlah 2,460 jiwa, yang terjadi pada tahun 2017. Kondisi Pertumbuhan ekonomi tertinggi terjadi pada Kabupaten Batang Hari yaitu sebanyak 12.27 persen, yang terjadi pada tahun 2022. Sedangkan pertumbuhan terendah ditemukan pada Kota Jambi yaitu sebesar -4.24 persen yang terjadi pada tahun 2020. Kondisi Jumlah Pengangguran tertinggi terjadi pada Provinsi Jambi yaitu sebanyak 93,990 jiwa yang terjadi pada tahun 2020. Sedangkan pengangguran terendahnya terjadi pada Kota Sungai Penuh yakni sejumlah 1,079 jiwa yang terjadi pada tahun 2022. Kondisi Indeks Pembangunan Manusia tertingginya terjadi pada Kota Jambi yaitu sebesar 79.58 satuan indeks yang terjadi pada tahun 2022. Sedangkan kondisi terendahnya ditemui di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur yakni sebanyak 62.61 satuan indeks, yang terjadi pada tahun 2017. 2) Berdasarkan hasil regresi pertumbuhan ekonomi, jumlah pengangguran dan indeks pembangunan manusia membawa dampak signifikan pada kemiskinan. The objectives of this study are to: 1) Examine the effects of poverty in the districts and cities of the province of Jambi on the circumstances of economic growth, the unemployment rate, and the human development index. Examine the impact of economic expansion, jobless figures, and the human development index on poverty within the districts and cities of the province of Jambi. Descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis are the analysis techniques used in this investigation. The condition of the highest number of poor people occurred in Jambi Province, which was 293,860 people, which occurred in 2021. In contrast, Sungai Penuh City had the lowest population in 2017—2,460—when this occurred. The study has chosen to use annual data spanning the years 2017 through 2022. Panel data regression analysis is the analysis technique that is applied. The study's findings indicate that: 1) Batang Hari Regency saw the most economic growth, 12.27 percent, in 2022, during the research period of 2017–2022. However, Jambi City saw the lowest growth in 2020, with a rate of -4.24 percent. With 93,990unemployed individuals in 2020, Jambi Province has the highest rate of unemployment. Sungai Penuh City had the lowest unemployment rate in 2022, with 1,079 individuals. In 2022, Jambi City had the highest Human Development Index, at 79.58 index unit. In contrast, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency had the lowest condition in 2017, at 62.61 index unit. The province of Jambi had the most number of impoverished individuals, 293.860, in 2021. In contrast, Sungai Penuh City had the lowest population in 2017—2,460—when this occurred. 2) According to the findings of the economic growth regression, poverty is significantly impacted by both the human development index and the unemployment rate.
