Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar aspek kognitif peserta didik materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan kelas V. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 121/I Muara Singoan pada tanggal 19 Juli sampai 19 Agutustus 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Eksperimental dengan metode one group pretest-posttest, dengan subjek penelitian peserta adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 121/I Muara Singoan. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari beberapa sumber dengan cara pengisian lembar keaktifan, lembar kolaborasi, dan lembar pretest-posttest peserta didik untuk mata pelajaran matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan. Setelah data di kembalikan, data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus persentase dan statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model kooperatif tipe talking stick pada pembelajaran matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar aspek kognitif, keaktifan dan kolaborasi peserta didik. Hal itu dibuktikan pada perbedaan yang signifikan pada rata-rata sebelum diberi perlakuan (Pretest) dan setelah diberikan perlakuan (posttest). Dikuatkan dengan hasil uji t dengan uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yakni 8,883 > 2,131. Maka Ho ditolah dan Ha diterima. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar aspek kognitif peserta didik. Oleh karena itu disarankan kepada guru dan pihak sekolah untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick karena berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, keaktifan dan kolaborasi peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Talking Stick, Hasil Belajar This research aims to determine the effect of using a type of cooperative model talking stick on the learning outcomes of students' cognitive aspects regarding addition and subtraction of fractions in class V. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 121/I Muara Singoan from 19 July to 19 August 2024. This research used a research design Quasi Experimental with method one group pretest-posttest, with the research subjects being class V students of SD Negeri 121/I Muara Singoan. This research data was obtained from several sources by filling in activity sheets, collaboration sheets, and students' pretest-posttest sheets for mathematics subjects on addition and subtraction of fractions. After the data is returned, the data is analyzed quantitatively using percentage and statistical formulas. The research results show that the cooperative model type talking stick in mathematics learning, the material on addition and subtraction of fractions influences the learning outcomes of students' cognitive aspects, activeness and collaboration. This was proven by the significant difference in the average before being given treatment (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest). Confirmed by the results of the t test using the paired sample t-test, the calculated t value was greater than the t table, namely 8.883 > 2.131. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model is type talking stick influence the learning outcomes of students' cognitive aspects. Therefore, it is recommended for teachers and schools to optimize the use of cooperative learning models talking stick because it influences learning outcomes, student activity and collaboration.
