Abstract

Latar belakang: Angka pemberian ASI eksklusif secara nasional menurun 56,9% pada tahun 2021 dari 66,06% pada tahun 2020, dengan provinsi Maluku (13%) sebagai yang terendah dan Nusa Tenggara Barat (82,4%) sebagai yang tertinggi . Di sisi lain, pemberian ASI eksklusif di Provinsi Jambi sebesar 56,01% pada tahun 2019, cakupan ini masih di bawah target target 62%. Kemudian menurun pada tahun 2020, dengan angka pemberian ASI sebesar 50,9%. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode crossectional ini merupakan jenis penelitian yang mengamati hubungan antara faktor resiko dengan efek yang ditimbulkan, populasi pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 116 dan sampel yang didapatkan yaitu sebanyak 100 responden. Analisa data univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, dan analisa bivariat menggunakan uji chisquare yang bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara variabel Hasil: Dari 100 responden bahwa terdapat 24 ibu yang bekerja dan tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif, terdapat 12 ibu yang bekerja dan memberikan ASI Eksklusif, terdapat 10 ibu yang tidak bekerja dan tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif serta terdapat 54 ibu yang tidak bekerja dan memberikan ASI Eksklusif, dengan nilai p-value variabel pekerjaan sebesar 0,000 (p = 0,000 < 0,05). Sedangkan variabel dukungan tenaga kesehatan memiliki nilai p-value sebesar 0,003 (p = 0,003 < 0,05). Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara pekerjaan dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman Kota Jambi Tahun 2024 Kata Kunci: Dukungan Tenaga Kesehatan, ASI Eksklusif Background: National exclusive breastfeeding rates decreased by 56.9% in 2021 from 66.06% in 2020, with Maluku province (13%) as the lowest and West Nusa Tenggara (82.4%) as the highest. On the other hand, exclusive breastfeeding in Jambi Province was 56.01% in 2019, this coverage is still below the target of 62%. Then it decreased in 2020, with the breastfeeding rate of 50.9%. Method: This research utilizes a cross-sectional method, which observes the relationship between risk factors and their effects. The population in this study consists of 116 individuals, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Univariate data analysis employs frequency distribution, while bivariate analysis uses the chi-square test to determine relationships between variables. Results: Out of 100 respondents, 24 mothers who work did not provide exclusive breastfeeding, 12 working mothers provided exclusive breastfeeding, 10 non working mothers did not provide exclusive breastfeeding, and 54 non-working mothers provided exclusive breastfeeding. The p-value for the occupation variable is 0.000 (p = 0.000 < 0.05). Meanwhile, the support from healthcare personnel variable has a p-value of 0.003 (p = 0.003 < 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between occupation and support from healthcare personnel with the provision of exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman, Jambi City in 2024.
