Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui gambaran usahatani kayu manis di Kecamatan Gunung Raya Kabupaten Kerinci, 2) Mengetahui sikap petani terhadap kayu manis di Kecamatan Gunung Raya Kabupaten Kerinci. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November sampai bulan Desember 2023 di Desa Lempur Mudik dan Desa Baru Lempur Kecamatan Gunung Raya Kabupaten Kerinci. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode proporsional sampling dengan jumlah responden 40 petani. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui sikap petani terhadap kayu manis adalah skoring dengan analisis skala likert. Untuk mengetahui sikap petani terhadap kayu manis di Kecamatan Gunung Raya melalui aspek kognisi, afeksi dan konasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan sikap petani responden menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap kayu manis di Kecamatan Gunung Raya Kabupaten Kerinci. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dari 40 petani responden 39 petani dengan persentase 97,5% menunjukkan sikap positif. Kata Kunci: Sikap, Kayu Manis, Usahatani. This study aims to: 1) Determine the overview of cinnamon farming in Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency, 2) Determine the attitude of farmers towards cinnamon in Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency. The research was carried out from November to December 2023 in Lempur Mudik Village and Lempur New Village, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency. This study uses primary data and secondary data. The sampling method used is a proportional sampling method with a total of 40 farmers. The analysis method used to determine the attitude of farmers towards cinnamon is scoring with Likert scale analysis. To find out the attitude of farmers towards cinnamon in Gunung Raya District through aspects of cognition, affection and conation. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the attitude of farmers respondents shows a positive attitude towards cinnamon in Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency. This is because of the 40 farmers who responded, 39 farmers with a percentage of 97.5% showed a positive attitude. Keywords: Attitude, Cinnamon, Farming.
