Abstract

Perusahaan PT. Mutiara Fortuna Raya merupakan suatu perusahaan tambang batubara yang berada di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi. Pengupasan lapisan penutup merupakan salah satu yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap kegiatan pertambangan. Pada kegiatan pengupasan tanah penutup di PT Mutiara Fortuna Raya menggunakan kombinasi alat gali muat excavator Hitachi ZX 350 dan alat angkut dumptruck Mitsubishi FE 74 HD 125 PS dan Mitsubishi Canter SHDX. berdasarkan data aktual PT. Mutiara Fortuna Raya mempunyai target produksi sebesar 45.000 BCM/Bulan. Akan tetapi produksi overburden yang didapat sebesar 41.345 BCM/Bulan. sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis untuk mengoptimalkan jam kerja alat, serta mengetahui penyebabnya untuk memenuhi target serta merencanakan kebutuhan alat angkut agar tidak terjadi penumpukan pada front loading kerja dan area dumping. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui produktivitas alat aktual pada proses pengupasan overburden, mengetahui jumlah alat angkut yang dibutuhkan untuk mengoptimalkan produktivitas berdasarkan metode antrian dan kapasitas produksi. Serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menghambat produktivitas alat gali muat dan angkut pada proses pengupasan overburden. Setelah dilakukan pengamatan dan perhitungan hasil dilapangan maka didapat hasil produktivitas aktual excavator Hitachi ZX 350 sebesar 191 Bcm/Jam sedangkan alat angkut dumptruck Mitsubishi FE 74 HD 125 PS dan Mitsubishi Canter SHDX sebesar 185 Bcm/Jam. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan menggunakan metode antrian didapatkanlah jumlah kebutuhan alat angkut pada kegiatan pengupasan overburden pada fleet dengan menggunakan metode kapasitas produksi sebanyak 5 unit dan hasil perhitungan kebutuhan alat meggunakan metode antrian didapatkan jumlah sebanyak 5 unit untuk fleet. Bedasarkan dari pengamatan lapangan selama penelitian, berikut ini adalah faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi dari alat gali muat dan alat angkut pada kegiatan penambangan adalah Kondisi Front Loading Penambangan, Kondisi Jalan Angkut, Efisiensi Kerja yang belum maksimal. Adapun dengan diketahui nya beberapa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi maka dapat dilakukan nya upaya perbaikan atau penanggulangan pada setiap faktor untuk meningkatkan produksi. Kata kunci; Overburden, produkktivitas, front loading, Excavator, Dumptruck The company PT. Mutiara Fortuna Raya is a coal mining company located in Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. Peeling the overburden is one of the things that has a great influence on mining activities. In the cover stripping activity at PT Mutiara Fortuna Raya, a combination of Hitachi ZX 350 excavator and Mitsubishi FE 74 HD 125 PS dump truck transport equipment and Mitsubishi Canter SHDX were used. based on actual data of PT. Mutiara Fortuna Raya has a production target of 45,000 BCM/Month. However, the overburden production obtained is 41,345 BCM/month.Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to optimize the working hours of the equipment, as well as find out the causes to meet the target and plan the need for transportation equipment so that there is no accumulation on the front loading of work and dumping areas. The purpose of this study is to determine the actual productivity of tools in the overburden stripping process, to find out the number of means of transport needed to optimize productivity based on the queue method and production capacity. As well as knowing the factors that hinder the productivity of loading and transporting excavation equipment in the overburden stripping process. After observation and calculation of results in the field, the actual productivity of the Hitachi ZX 350 excavator was obtained at 191 Bcm/Hour while the Mitsubishi FE 74 HD 125 PS dump truck and Mitsubishi Canter SHDX were 185 Bcm/Hour.After the calculation was carried out using the queue method, the number of transportation equipment needed in the overburden stripping activity in the fleet using the production capacity method was obtained as many as 5 units and the results of the calculation of the need for equipment using the queue method were obtained as many as 5 units for the fleet. Based on field observations during the study, the following are the factors that affect the production of loading and unloading equipment and transport equipment in mining activities, namely Mining Front Loading Conditions, Transport Road Conditions, Work Efficiency that has not been maximized. As for the knowledge of several factors that affect production, efforts can be made to improve or counteract each factor to increase production.
