Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Game Based Learning Di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini berlatar belakang pada kenyataan bahwa pemahaman belajar peserta didik pada materi tumbuhan di sekolah dasar masih rendah, dengan hasil observasi pemahaman belajar peserta didik sebesar 40,38%. Peserta didik merasa bosan dan kurang bersemangat saat pembelajaran berlangsung serta model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru kurang efektif berdampak pada materi yang dipelajari tidak tersampaikan dengan baik pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana data yang diambil yaitu berupa data wawancara, observasi melalui lembar observasi pengamatan pemahaman belajar peserta didik dan observasi guru menerapkan model pembelajaran Game Based Learning, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman belajar peserta didik terlihat dari hasil observasi pada siklus I pemahaman belajar peserta didik 51,34%. Meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 78,31%. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan kemampuan pemahaman belajar peserta didik pada materi tumbuhan di sekolah dasar dapat meningkat setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Game Based Learning. This research aims to determine the increase in students' understanding of learning through the Game Based Learning learning model in elementary schools. This research is based on the fact that students' learning understanding of plant material in elementary schools is still low, with observation results of students' learning understanding of 40.38%. Students feel bored and less enthusiastic when learning takes place and the learning model applied by the teacher is less effective, resulting in the material being studied not being conveyed well to students. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles, where the data taken is in the form of interview data, observations through observation sheets, observations of students' learning understanding and teacher observations implementing the Game Based Learning learning model, as well as documentation. This research was carried out in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this research show an increase in students' learning understanding as seen from the results of observations in the first cycle of students' learning understanding of 51.34%. Increased in cycle II to 78.31%. Based on the findings of the research results, it can be concluded that students' learning comprehension abilities in plant material in elementary schools can increase after implementing the Game Based Learning learning model.
