Abstract

Wong Perantauan adalah nama judul komposisi karya musik program yang bersumber dari lagu Caping Gunung karya Gesang Martohartono, seorang maestro keroncong. Lagu tersebut merepresentasikan nilai-nilai budaya Jawa dengan cara yang emosional melalui lirik-liriknya yang sarat makna, menggambarkan kehidupan masyarakat, dan mengekspresikan hubungan era antara manusia dan alam . Hal tersebut tergambarkan dalam peristiwa kisah transmigrasi oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Wonogiri Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Mereka menyanyikan lagu Caping Gunung disaat keadaan susah maupun senang ketika proses transmigrasi dan merintis hidup ke Desa Pinang Merah, Kecamatan Pamenang Barat, Kabupaten Merangin, Provinsi Jambi. Dalam prosesnya, mereka mendemonstrasikan perasaan emosionalnya dengan cara menyanyikan lagu Caping Gunung. Berdasarkan penjelasan diatas, alur kejadian yang sangat berpengaruh dan menjadi unsur-unsur programa pada karya musik yang hendak dibuat konvensi musik program romantik bentuk sonata kedalam formasi Orkestra. Kata Kunci: Romantik, Caping Gunung, Wong Perantauan Abstract Wong Perantauan is the name of the program's musical composition which is derived from the song Caping Gunung by Gesang Martohartono, a keroncong maestro. The song represents Javanese cultural values in an emotional way through its lyrics that are full of meaning, describe people's lives, and express the relationship of the era between humans and nature. This is illustrated in the story of transmigration by the people of Wonogiri Regency, Central Java Province. They sang the song Caping Gunung when the situation was difficult and happy during the process of transmigration and pioneering life to Pinang Merah Village, West Pamenang District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. In the process, they demonstrated their emotional feelings by singing the song Caping Gunung. Based on the explanation above, the flow of events is very influential and becomes the elements of the program in the musical work that is to be made into a musical convention in the form of a romantic program in the form of a sonata into the Orchestra formation.
