Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan gambaran umum usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batanghari. (2) Menganalisis besarnya pendapatan yang diperoleh dari usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batanghari. (3) Menganalisis tingkat kelayakan usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batanghari. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 57 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan gambaran umum kegiatan usahatani cabai merah dan analisis kuantitatif untuk analisis biaya dan penerimaan, R/C ratio, B/C ratio serta BEP. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa (1) Usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Pemayung dilakukan secara mandiri karena belum terdapat kelompok tani khusus pelaku usahatani cabai merah. Input yang digunakan dalam usahatani cabai merah yaitu pupuk, benih, tenaga kerja dan obat-obatan yang termasuk ke dalam biaya variabel, selain itu juga ada biaya penyusutan peralatan yang termasuk ke dalam biaya tetap. (2) Penerimaan usahatani cabai merah per musim tanam di Kecamatan Pemayung sebesar Rp119.291.228/petani/MT dan Rp183.904.292/ha/MT, biaya total yang dikeluarkan sebesar Rp38.351.390/petani/MT dan Rp59.377.270/ha/MT sehingga pendapatan yang diperoleh atas biaya total yang sebesar Rp80.939.838/petani/MT dan Rp124.527.022/ha/MT. (3) Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan yang dilakukan, nilai R/C Ratio usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Pemayung atas biaya total yaitu sebesar 3,11 maka dinyakan layak untuk dikembangkan karena bernilai lebih dari 1. Nilai B/C Ratio yang diperoleh atas biaya total sebesar 2,11 maka layak untuk dilakukan karena bernilai lebih dari nol (0). Berdasarkan hasil analisis kelayakan usahatani, analisis R/C Rasio yaitu sebesar 3,11, analisis B/C Rasio yaitu 2,11, analisis BEP volume 1560 kg dan BEP harga Rp8.000. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Pemayung layak untuk diusahakan. Kata Kunci: Usahatani, Cabai Merah, Produksi, Pendapatan, Kelayakan ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the general picture of red chili farming in Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency. (2) Analyze the amount of income obtained from red chili farming in Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency. (3) Analyze the feasibility level of red chili farming in Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency. This study was conducted in Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling with a sample size of 57 people. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis which aims to describe the general picture of red chili farming activities and quantitative analysis for cost and revenue analysis, R/C ratio, B/C ratio and BEP. From the results of the study, it was obtained that (1) Red chili farming in Pemayung District is carried out independently because there is no special farmer group for red chili farming actors. The inputs used in red chili farming are fertilizer, seeds, labor and medicines which are included in variable costs, besides that there are also equipment depreciation costs which are included in fixed costs. (2) The income from red chili farming per planting season in Pemayung District is Rp119,291,228/farmer/MT and Rp183,904,292/ha/MT, the total cost incurred is Rp38,351,390/farmer/MT and Rp59,377,270/ha/MT so that the income obtained from the total cost is Rp80,939,838/farmer/MT and Rp124,527,022/ha/MT. (3) Based on the feasibility analysis conducted, the R/C Ratio value of red chili farming in Pemayung District for the total cost is 3.11, so it is considered feasible to be developed because it has a value of more than 1. The B/C Ratio value obtained for the total cost is 2.11, so it is feasible to be carried out because it has a value of more than zero (0). Based on the results of the feasibility analysis of the farming business, the R/C Ratio analysis is 3.11, the B/C Ratio analysis is 2.11, the BEP volume analysis is 1560 kg and the BEP price is Rp8,000. It can be concluded that the red chili farming business in Pemayung District is feasible to be cultivated. Keywords: Farming, Red Chili, Production, Income, Feasibility
