Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran umum usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin. 2) Menghitung keuntungan usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin. 3) Menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi keuntungan usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin. Dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin pada bulan Juli Sampai Agustus dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 55 petani. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Di analisis dengan metode deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani cabai merah di daerah penelitian umumnya dilakukan petani pada lahan milik mereka sendiri dengan rata – rata luas lahan 0,62 Ha. Penggunaan benih cabai merah rata – rata sebanyak 270,04/ha, dan pupuk 2.432 Kg/Ha untuk produksi cabai merah dapat dikatakan masih belum maksimal dengan sebanyak rata – rata 4.031 Kg/ha. 2) Berdasarkan hasil yang telah dijelaskan dapat diketahui bahwa keuntungan usahatani cabai merah di Kecamatan Lembah Masurai Kabupaten Merangin dapat dikatakan menguntungkan dengan keuntungan rata –rata sebesar Rp. 79.928.282 / Petani atau Rp. 126.980.228/ Ha. 3) Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor–faktor seperti luas lahan, biaya benih, biaya obat–obatan, biaya tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap keuntungan usahatani cabai merah sedangkan biaya pupuk tidak berpengaruh nyata tehadap keuntungan usahatani cabai merah didaerah penelitian. Describe the general conditions of red chili farming in Lembah Masurai Subdistrict, Merangin Regency. 2) Calculate the profitability of red chili farming in Lembah Masurai Subdistrict, Merangin Regency. 3) Analyze the factors affecting the profitability of red chili farming in Lembah Masurai Subdistrict, Merangin Regency. The study was conducted in Lembah Masurai Subdistrict, Merangin Regency, from July to August, with a total of 55 farmer respondents. The data used in this study consisted of primary and secondary data, analyzed using a descriptive quantitative method. Research Findings: 1) The study revealed that red chili farming in the research area is generally 2 carried out by farmers on their own land, with an average land size of 0.62 hectares. The average use of red chili seeds is 270.04 grams per hectare, and fertilizers are applied at 2,432 kg/ha. However, red chili production remains suboptimal, averaging 4,031 kg/ha. 2) The profitability of red chili farming in Lembah Masurai Subdistrict, Merangin Regency, is considered favorable, with an average profit of IDR 79,928,282 per farmer or IDR 126,980,228 per hectare. 3) Analysis results indicate that factors such as land size, seed costs, pesticide costs, and labor costs significantly affect the profitability of red chili farming.
