Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pendapatan Petani Padi Di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur (Studi Kasus : Kelurahan Simpang Kecamatan Berbak) dibawah bimbingan ibu Dr. Hj. Etik Umiyati, S.E., M.Si dan ibu Dr. Rosmeli, S.E., M.E. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1). Mengetahui dan menganalisis karakteristik social ekonomi petani padi di Kelurahan Simpang Kecamatan Berbak Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. 2). Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan petani di Kelurahan Simpang Kecamatan Berbak Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Berdasarkan metodenya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey. Metode penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi sampel adalah petani padi yang ada di Kelurahan Simpang Kecamatan Berbak. Berdasarkan penerapan rumus slovin dalam penelitian ini diperoleh 76 petani padi. Pendapatan petani padi merupakan variabel dependen sedangkan Tenaga Kerja sebagai variabel X1, Luas Lahan sebagai variabel X2, Produksi sebagai variabel X3, Biaya Produksi sebagai variabel X4, Harga Jual sebagai Variabel X5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tenaga Kerja, Luas Lahan, Produksi, Biaya Produksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan Petani Padi di Kelurahan Simpang Kecamatan Berbak, sementara Harga Jual (X5) tidak berpengaruh dikarenakan petani di Kelurahan Simpang Kecamatan Berbak adalah petani yang mayoritas bertujuan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan sendiri dan tidak terfokus ke penjualan hasil. Kata kunci : Padi, Biaya Produksi, Pertanian, Pendapatan ABSTRACT This study is entitled Analysis of Factors Affecting the Income of Rice Farmers in East Tanjung Jabung Regency (Case Study: Simpang Village, Berbak District) under the guidance of Dr. Hj. Etik Umiyati, S.E., M.Si. and Mrs. Dr. Rosmeli, S.E., M.E. The purpose of this research is to 1). Knowing and analyzing the socio economic characteristics of rice farmers in Simpang Village, Berbak District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. 2). To find out and analyze the factors that affect farmers' income in Simpang Village, Berbak District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency. Based on the method, this study using survey research methods. Determination method The sample in this study uses simple non probability sampling with simple random sampling. In this study, the sample is rice farmers which is in Simpang Village, Berbak District. Based on the application of the formula Slovin in this study was obtained from 76 rice farmers. Rice farmer income is a dependent variable while Labor is the X1 variable, Land Area as variable X2, Production as variable X3, Production Cost as variable X4, Selling Price as Variable X5. The results showed that Labor, Land Area, Production, Production Costs have a significant effect on the income of rice farmers in Simpang Village, Berbak District, while the Selling Price (X5) has no effect because farmers in Simpang Village, Berbak District are farmers who The majority aim to meet their own needs and are not focused on sales of results.
