Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembentukan karakter kreatif siswa melalui kegiatan kewirausahaan di SD Negeri 131/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta dokumentasi kegiatan. Fokus penelitian adalah menggali bagaimana kegiatan kewirausahaan berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan siswa, termasuk menghasilkan gagasan orisinal, menciptakan karya inovatif, serta fleksibilitas berpikir dalam menghadapi masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 131/IV Kota Jambi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa kelas VB. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sertadianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kewirausahaan, seperti market day dan proyek berbasis tema kewirausahaan, mendorong siswa untuk berkreasi, mengembangkan ide-ide baru, dan menghasilkan produk unik. Aktivitas ini tidak hanya melatih kreativitas siswa tetapi juga mengajarkan nilai-nilai kemandirian, tanggung jawab, dan keberanian mengambil risiko. Kegiatan seperti pembuatan kemasan telur asin dan kerajinan dari bahan daur ulang memperlihatkan kemampuan siswa dalam merancang solusi inovatif serta berpikir out of the box. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan kewirausahaan di sekolah dasar secara signifikan berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter kreatif siswa. Implikasinya, sekolah perlu terus mendukung program kewirausahaan sebagai bagian dari kurikulum untuk memperkuat kreativitas dan kemampuan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan. This study aims to analyze the development of students' creative character through entrepreneurial activities at SD Negeri 131/IV Kota Jambi. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data is collected through direct observation, structured interviews with the principal and teachers, as well as documentation of activities. The focus of the study is to explore how entrepreneurial activities contribute to students' development, particularly in generating original ideas, creating innovative works, and demonstrating flexibility in problem-solving. The research utilizes a qualitative method with a case study approach. The study is conducted at SD Negeri 131/IV Kota Jambi, with research subjects including the principal, teachers, and fifth-grade students. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, and the data is analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial activities, such as market day and entrepreneurship-themed projects, encourage students to be creative, develop new ideas, and produce unique products. These activities not only enhance students' creativity but also instill values of independence, responsibility, and risk-taking. Activities such as designing salted egg packaging and crafting recycled materials showcase students' ability to create innovative solutions and think outside the box. This study concludes that entrepreneurial activities in elementary schools significantly contribute to the development of students' creative character. The implication is that schools should continue to support entrepreneurship programs as part of the curriculum to strengthen students' creativity and problem-solving skills in facing future challenges.
