Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalan proses pembelajaran serta apa saja faktor penyebab kesulitan yang dialami dan mencari tahu solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan responden penelitian guru biologi dan siswa kelas X yang fase E yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran biologi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner google form. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Secara garis besar prosedur penelitian terdiri atas tiga langkah yakni tahap persiapan penelitian, tahap pelaksanaan penelitian dan analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran biologi, kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa yaitu : (1) Siswa kesulitan dalam memahami beberapa materi. (2) siswa kesulitan dalam pemecahan suatu masalah. (3) siswa cenderung pasif dalam proses pembelajaran biologi. The aim of this research is to find out students' difficulties in the learning process and what factors cause the difficulties they experience and to find out the right solution to overcome students' learning difficulties in the biology learning process at SMA Negeri Jambi. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research with research respondents in the form of biology teachers and class X stage E students who are currently following the biology learning process. Data collection instruments used interviews and Google Form questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In general, research procedures consist of three steps, namely the research preparation stage, the research implementation stage, and data analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that students experience difficulties in biology learning process activities. The difficulties faced by students are: (1) Students have difficulty understanding some of the material. (2) students experience difficulty in solving a problem. (3) students tend to be passive in the biology learning process.
