Abstract

ABSTRAK Provinsi Jambi memiliki beberapa kawasan Hutan adat. Salah satu Hutan adat yang ada di Provinsi Jambi yaitu Hutan Adat Guguk dengan luasan 690 ha yang ditetapkan sebagai hutan adat mulai sekitar tahun 2003. Melalui Surat Keputusan Bupati Merangin Nomor : 287 tahun 2003, pada tanggal 23 November 2003. lokasinya berada di Kecamatan Renah Pembarap Kabupaten Merangin.. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis burung dan menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis burung, kemerataan jenis, kekayaan jenis burung serta kesamaan komunitas di Hutan Adat Guguk Kecamatan Renah Pembarap Kabupaten Merangin. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang telah dilakukan di 4 tipe habitat yaitu Riparian Sungai, kebun campuran, Semak belukar, dan Hutan sekunder menggunakan metode Point Count dan metode Purposive sampling Total jenis burung di Hutan Adat Guguk terdapat 31 jenis burung dari 20 famili. Pada tipe habitat sepadan sungai terdapat 15 jenis burung dari 12 famili, pada kebun campuran terdapat 11 jenis burung dari 7 famili. Pada semak belukar terdapat 15 jenis burung dari 11 famili. Pada hutan sekunder terdapat 11 jenis burung dari 8 famili ditemukan selama penelitian. Hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan Indeks keanekaragaman jenis burung (H’) di di Kebun Campuran dan Semak Belukar adalah sedang, dengan nilai masing-masing 2,27. Nilai indeks Kekayaan (Dmg) di Kebun Campuran sebesar 3,02 dan Semak Belukar 2,99 tergolong rendah. Indeks Kemerataan (E) di Kebun Campuran sangat tinggi 0,94, sedangkan di Semak Belukar juga tinggi 0,83. Di Sepadan Sungai, indeks keanekaragaman (H’) juga sedang 2,33, dengan kekayaan (Dmg) rendah 3,11, kemerataan (E) tinggi 0,80. Hutan Sekunder memiliki keanekaragaman (H’) sedang (2,05), kekayaan (Dmg) rendah 3,04, kemerataan (E) tinggi 0,56. Secara keseluruhan, semua habitat menunjukkan keanekaragaman jenis yang sedang, kekayaan spesies yang rendah, kemerataan yang tinggi. ABSTRACT Jambi Province has several customary forest areas. One of the customary forests in Jambi Province is the Guguk Customary Forest with an area of 690 ha which was designated as a customary forest starting around 2003. Through the Decree of the Regent of Merangin Number: 287 of 2003, on November 23, 2003. the location is in Renah Pembarap District, Merangin Regency. The purpose of this study was to identify various types of birds and analyze the diversity of bird species, evenness of species, richness of bird species and community similarities in the Guguk Customary Forest, Renah Pembarap District, Merangin Regency. Based on the results of observations that have been carried out in 4 types of habitats, namely Riparian River, mixed gardens, shrubs, and secondary forests using the Point Count method and Purposive sampling method. The total number of bird species in the Guguk Customary Forest is 31 species of birds from 20 families. In the riverside habitat type there are 15 species of birds from 12 families, in the mixed garden there are 11 species of birds from 7 families. In the bushes there are 15 species of birds from 11 families. In the secondary forest there are 11 species of birds from 8 families found during the study. The results of the analysis that have been carried out show that the bird species diversity index (H ') in the Mixed Garden and Shrubs is moderate, with a value of 2.27 each. The Richness index (Dmg) value in the Mixed Garden is 3.02 and Shrubs 2.99 is classified as low. The Evenness Index (E) in the Mixed Garden is very high at 0.94, while in Shrubs it is also high at 0.83. In Sepadan Sungai, the diversity index (H ') is also moderate at 2.33, with low richness (Dmg) of 3.11, high evenness (E) of 0.80. Secondary Forest has moderate diversity (H ') (2.05), low richness (Dmg) of 3.04, and high evenness (E) of 0.56. Overall, all habitats showed moderate species diversity, low species richness, high evenness.
