Abstract
The General Election Supervisory Agency (BAWASLU) is an institution that oversees the implementation of General Elections, in the implementation of simultaneous general elections in 2024 in Jambi Province in the implementation of its duties Bawaslu through data from the General Election Commission (KPU) of Jambi Province shows that the most registered cases of election violations in Jambi City are as many as 4 violations. This study aims to find out and analyze the strategy of bawaslu in supervision and mechanisms for resolving election violations. The research method used is Qualitative Descriptive and uses Hani Handoko's supervision theory with indicators that are accurate, timely, objective, centralized, realistic, coordinated, flexible, operational and accepted by organizations. In the role of the Jambi City General Election Supervisory Agency (BAWASLU), the results show that the Jambi City Bawaslu in following up on violations that occurred, there were several cases that were dismissed, did not have evidence and were not included in the category of election violations, and there were some that were resolved by delegating to the authorities, but in resolving the violations that occurred, Bawaslu had limitations because Bawaslu still lacked human resources that has an impact on the lack of supervision during the election.
