Abstract
Kebutuhan cabai rawit selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya seiring dengan bertambahnya penduduk, karena cabai rawit tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan sehari- hari. Hal ini menyebabkan perlu dilakukannya usaha dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas hasil panen tanaman cabai rawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kombinasi pupuk kotoran ayam dan eco enzyme terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai rawit dan untuk mendapatkan dosis dan konsentrasi terbaik dari kombinasi pupuk kotoran ayam dan eco enzyme terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit, yang dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi, Kampus Unja Mendalo, Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dengan ketinggian ± 35 mdpl. Waktu pelaksanaan selama tiga bulan pada bulan Agustus sampai bulan Oktober 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan satu faktor dengan dasar rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu kombinasi dosis pupuk kotoran ayam dan konsentrasi eco enzyme. Jarak tanam 40 cm x 50 cm sehingga dalam satu petakan terdapat 10 populasi tanaman. Pada setiap petak percobaan diambil 2 sampel tanaman sehingga terdapat 72 sampel tanaman dari 360 total keseluruhan populasi tanaman percobaan. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), diamter batang (mm), umur mulai berbunga (HST), umur mulai panen (HST), berat buah per tanaman (g). Adapun hasil yang telah diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh pemberian kombinasi pupuk kotoran ayam dan eco enzyme terhadap tingi tanaman, diameter batang, umur mulai berbunga, umur mulai panen dan berat buah per tanaman. Diperoleh pula dosis 30 ton.ha-1 pupuk kotoran ayam dan konsentrasi 20 ml.L-1 eco enzyme merupakan kombinasi terbaik dalam pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai rawit. The need for cayenne pepper always increases every year along with the increasing population, because cayenne pepper is inseparable from daily needs. This requires efforts to increase the productivity and quality of cayenne pepper harvests. This study aims to test the effect of a combination of chicken manure and eco enzyme fertilizer on the growth of cayenne pepper plants and to obtain the best dose and concentration of the combination of chicken manure and eco enzyme fertilizer on the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants, which was carried out at the Teaching and Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi, Unja Mendalo Campus, Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency with an altitude of ± 35 meters above sea level. The implementation time is three months from August to October 2024. This study uses a one-factor experimental method with a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 12 treatments and 3 replications, namely a combination of chicken manure fertilizer doses and eco enzyme concentrations. The planting distance is 40 cm x 50 cm so that in one plot there are 10 plant populations. In each experimental plot, 2 plant samples were taken so that there were 72 plant samples from 360 total experimental plant populations. The parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), age at flowering (DAP), age at harvest (DAP), fruit weight per plant (g). The results obtained from this study were that there was an effect of the combination of chicken manure and eco enzyme on plant height, stem diameter, age at flowering, age at harvest and fruit weight per plant. It was also obtained that a dose of 30 tons.ha-1 chicken manure and a concentration of 20 ml.L-1 eco enzyme was the highest combination in the growth and production of cayenne pepper plants.
