Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan penduduk, dependency ratio, pengangguran terbuka, dan indeks pembangunan manusia terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi dari tahun 2000 – 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan data sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa uji secara simultan menunjukan semua variabel independen yaitu pertumbuhan penduduk, dependency ratio, pengangguran terbuka, dan indeks pembangunan manusia secara bersama – sama berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Jambi. Hasil estimasi t statistik diketahui bahwa uji secara parsial menunjukan bahwa variabel pertumbuhan penduduk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan variabel dependency ratio, pengangguran terbuka, dan indeks pembangunan manusia tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.   Kata Kunci :. pertumbuhan penduduk, dependency ratio, pengangguran terbuka, indeks pembangunan manusia, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi ABSTRACT                The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of population growth, dependency ratio, open poverty, and human development index on economic growth in Jambi Province from 2000 to 2022. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis method with secondary data. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the simultaneous test shows that all independent variables, namely population growth, dependency ratio, open poverty, and human development index, have the same effect on economic growth in Jambi Province. The results of statistical estimation show that the partial test shows that the population growth variable has a significant effect on economic growth, while the dependency ratio, open poverty, and human development index variables do not have a significant effect on economic growth. Keywords:             population growth, dependency ratio, open poverty, human development index, and economic growth..
