Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Jurusan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini dan Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing: (1) Dr. Muhammad Sofwan, S.Pd., M.Pd (2) Hendra Budiono, S.Pd.,M.Pd Kata Kunci: Booklet, Bahan Ajar Alternatif, IPAS Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Booklet sebagai alternatif bahan ajar IPAS kelas V Sekolah Dasar serta mengetahui kelayakan dari Booklet untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai istilah abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mix methode). Model pengembangan yang dipakai pada penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Desiign, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 55/I Sridadi Kecamatan Muara Bulian Kabupaten Batanghari dengan subjek penelitian guru dan juga peserta didik. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui validasi media, validasi materi, serta validasi bahasa. Selain itu, data juga didapatkan dari hasil angket respon guru dan juga peserta didik untuk melihat keterbacaannya pada saat melaksanakan uji coba kelompok kecil dan kepraktisannya pada saat melaksanakan uji coba kelompok besar. Data dianalisis menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwasannya uji validasi dari ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,8 dengan kategori produk sangat valid, penilaian ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,1 dengan kategori valid, dan untuk validasi bahasa mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,1 dengan kategori valid. Penilaian dari respon guru mendapatkan nilai dengan rata-rata 4,7 dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan penilaian respon peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan skor nilai rata-rata 4,68 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Merujuk pada hasil penelitian maka dapat disintesiskan bahwasannya pengembangan Booklet sebagai alternatif bahan ajar IPAS kelas V Sekolah Dasar secara keseluruhan bisa dipergunakan pada saat proses pelaksanaan belajar di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya Booklet sebagai alternatif bahan ajar IPAS kelas V Sekolah Dasar secara keseluruhan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Keywords: Booklet, Alternative Teaching Material, IPAS This research aims to develop a booklet as an alternative teaching material for 5th-grade Science and Social Studies (IPAS) in elementary schools and to determine the feasibility of the booklet in providing an understanding of abstract terms. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development) using a qualitative and quantitative (mixed-method) approach. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). This research was conducted at SDN 55/I Sridadi, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, with teachers and students as the research subjects. Research data were obtained through media validation, material validation, and language validation. In addition, data were also obtained from the results of teacher and student response questionnaires to assess the booklet's readability during the small group trial and its practicality during the large group trial. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data. The results of this research showed that the media expert validation obtained an average score of 4.8, categorized as very valid, the material expert validation obtained an average score of 4.1, categorized as valid, and the language validation obtained an average score of 4.1, categorized as valid. The teacher response assessment received an average score of 4.7, categorized as very practical, and the student response assessment during the large group trial obtained an average score of 4.68, categorized as very practical. Referring to the research results, it can be synthesized that the development of the booklet as an alternative teaching material for 5th-grade Science and Social Studies in elementary schools can be used during the learning process at school. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the booklet as an alternative teaching material for 5th-grade Science and Social Studies in elementary schools can be fully used in the school learning process.
