Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Merokok merupakan kebiasaan berbahaya yang menyebabkan berbagai penyakit dan kematian. Perokok pasif, terutama anak-anak dan remaja, lebih rentan terkena penyakit dibandingkan perokok aktif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku perokok pasif pada anak-anak Sekolah Dasar Negeri 59/IV di Kota Jambi. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan observasional analitik. Desain penelitian ini adalah Cross-sectional dengan sampel sebanyak 67 responden terdiri dari siswa kelas 5 dan 6. Variabel yang diteliti adalah perilaku perokok pasif, pengetahuan, sikap, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan pengaruh keluarga. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis Chi-Square univariat dan bivariat. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 67 responden didapatkan 13,4% responden berperilaku perokok pasif. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan (p < 0,05) dan sikap (p < 0,05) dengan perilaku perokok pasif. Responden dengan pengetahuan kurang baik berisiko 6,696 kali lebih besar memiliki perilaku perokok pasif. Selain itu, sikap berisiko merupakan faktor protektif terjadinya perilaku perokok pada anak. Kesimpulan : Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan dan sikap dengan perilaku perokok pasif. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pembentukan sikap yang baik untuk mengurangi risiko perilaku perokok pasif. Kata Kunci : Perokok Pasif, Anak Sekolah Dasar, Pengetahuan, Sikap, Perilaku Kesehatan. ABSRACT Background : Smoking is a dangerous habit that causes various diseases and death. Passive smokers, especially children and adolescents, are more susceptible to disease than active smokers. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence passive smoking behavior in children of Elementary School 59/IV in Jambi City. Methods : This study used a quantitative method with an analytical observational design. The design of this study was Cross-sectional with a sample of 67 respondents consisting of students in grades 5 and 6. The variables studied were passive smoking behavior, knowledge, attitudes, peer influence, and family influence. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate Chi-Square analysis. Results : The results of the study showed that out of 67 respondents, 13.4% of respondents behaved as passive smokers. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p <0.05) and attitude (p <0.05) with passive smoking behavior. Respondents with poor knowledge were 6.696 times more at risk of having passive smoking behavior. In addition, risky attitudes are a protective factor for the occurrence of smoking behavior in children. Conclusion : This study found that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitude with passive smoking behavior. Therefore, efforts need to be made to increase knowledge and form good attitudes to reduce the risk of passive smoking behavior.
