Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to see the effectiveness of Services, Information and Consultation through Protection Cars (PITA MOLIN) as an innovation in child protection in Jambi City. PITA MOLIN is a program implemented by the Jambi City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service to provide protection services and information that is easily accessible to children. The aim to be achieved in this research is to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of PITA MOLIN and the impact of PITA MOLIN services as a child protection innovation in Jambi City.Using a qualitative approach and descriptive research design through data collection using interviews, observations and documentation studies. The findings from the results of this research are that the implementation of the PITA MOLIN program has been able to reach target children and provide services that are significantly effective in achieving the ultimate goal of child protection, but it cannot be said to be optimal. Findings show that the program was successful in raising children's awareness of their rights and providing important information regarding protection. However, there are several obstacles that hinder the effectiveness of the program, such as a lack of strategic planning, limited human resources, and irregularities in the service implementation schedule. These difficulties have an impact on achieving the expected goals, so there needs to be improvements and better collaboration between the government, families and the community in optimizing PITA MOLIN services. The involvement of the community and other stakeholders is very important to expand reach, increase awareness and strengthen child protection in Jambi City.
