Abstract

Alat tangkap pancing tonda merupakan alat tangkap yang dominan digunakan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudra (PPS) Bungus dengan ukuran kapal 3 GT hingga 30 GT. Target utama alat tangkap pancing tonda adalah tongkol. Kontruksi pancing tonda terdiri dari, roll penggulung, kili-kili, tali utama, mata pancing, tali cabang dan pemberat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konstruksi alat tangkap pancing tonda (troll line) yang berlabuh di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudra (PPS) Bungus, Provinsi Sumatra Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudra (PPS) Bungus, Provinsi Sumatra Barat pada tanggal 1 sampai 25 November 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode sensus pada kapal berukuran 3-30 GT sebanyak 12 kapal. Data yang dihimpun dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Adapun data primer diperoleh melalui pengamatan seperti, tali pancing, mata pancing, roll penggulung, kili-kili dan pemberat. Data sekunder yang diperoleh dari loogbook Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Bungus, jurnal penelitian, studi pustaka dan lain-lain. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan disajikan dalam bentuk gambar dan tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat tangkap pancing tonda yang digunakan oleh nelayan Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Bungus memiliki dua tipe yaitu pancing tonda dengan satu mata pancing memiliki kontruksi yaitu terdiri dari roll penggulung dari bahan kayu, kili-kili jenis Barrel swivel, tali utama dari Poliamida. Monofilament, mata pancing dibuat dari kawat baja dan memiliki berat 1,7 sampai 5,5 gram dan pemberat dari timah. Pancing Tonda bertali cabang yang terdiri roll penggulung dari bahan kayu, kili-kili, tali utama dengan nomor 500 dan panjang 50-100 meter yang memiliki diameter 1,4 mm, tali cabang yakni nomor 200 dengan panjang sekitar 5 cm sampai 10 cm dan jak tali cabang 30 cm sampai 1 m diameter 0,6 mm, mata pancing terdiri dari 1 hingga 30 buah dan pemberat dari bahan timah. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pancing tonda memiliki konstruksi berbeda antara satu mata pancing dan bertali cabang sesuai dengan dengan wilayah pengoperasian dan jenis ikan target. Trolley fishing gear is the dominant fishing gear used in the Bungus Ocean Fishing Port (PPS) with ship sizes ranging from 3 GT to 30 GT. The main target of the trolling fishing gear is tuna. The construction of the trolling fishing line consists of a rolling roll, a spool, a main line, a fishing hook, a branch line and a sinker. This study aims to determine the construction of the trolling fishing gear (troll line) anchored at the Bungus Ocean Fishing Port (PPS), West Sumatra Province. This research was conducted at the Bungus Ocean Fishing Port (PPS), West Sumatra Province from 1 to 25 November 2024. The research method used was a survey. Data collection used the census method on 12 ships measuring 3-30 GT. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data. The primary data was obtained through observations such as fishing lines, fishing hooks, rolling rolls, spools and sinkers. Secondary data obtained from the logbook of the Bungus Ocean Fisheries Port (PPS), research journals, literature studies and others. Data analysis used in this study uses descriptive analysis and is presented in the form of images and tables. The results of the study indicate that the trolling fishing gear used by fishermen at the Bungus Ocean Fisheries Port (PPS) has two types, namely trolling fishing with one fishing hook has a construction consisting of a wooden roller, a barrel swivel type spool, a main rope made of polyamide. Monofilament, the fishing hook is made of steel wire and weighs 1.7 to 5.5 grams and a lead sinker. Trolling rod with branch rope consisting of a rolling roll made of wood, a spool, a main rope with number 500 and a length of 50-100 meters with a diameter of 1.4 mm, a branch rope, namely number 200 with a length of about 5 cm to 10 cm and a branch rope of 30 cm to 1 m with a diameter of 0.6 mm, fishing hooks consisting of 1 to 30 pieces and a weight made of tin. The conclusion of this study shows that trolling rods have different constructions between one fishing hook and a branch rope according to the operating area and the type of target fish.
