Abstract
ABSTRACT The Corruption Eradication Commission As an ad hoc Institution, sine it was formed in 2002 based on the law of the Republic of Indonesian Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Corruption Eradication Commission (State institution of the Republic of Indonesian of 2002 Number 137, additional to the state gazette of the Republic of indonesian Number 4250) has returned public trust in state institutions that specifically deal with criminal acts of corruption in indonesian. So far, state institutions such as the indonesian national police and the Attorney General’s Office have not been effective and efficient in dealing with corruption eradication commission. In addition, the world ad Hoc has always been questioned by some element as a way of weakening the position of the corruption eradication commission as a state institution. After the enactment of Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the Second Amendment to Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Law, the position of the KPK which was originally a non-governmental institution is now included in the branch of governmental power branches (Auxiliary State Organs).
