Abstract

Tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura dengan nilai ekonomis tinggi yang dapat tumbuh baik di dataran tinggi maupun rendah. Di Provinsi Jambi, produktivitas tomat masih terkendala oleh kesuburan lahan yang rendah akibat dominasi tanah ultisol. Penggunaan pupuk organik menjadi solusi potensial untuk mengatasi masalah ini karena pupuk organik dapat meningkatkan kualitas tanah, mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk anorganik, dan mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan. Salah satu pupuk organik yang dapat dijadikan alternatif yaitu eco-enzyme yang diperkaya dengan penambahan kecambah kacang hijau dan air cucian beras. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari respon tanaman tomat terhadap pemberian eco-enzyme diperkaya kecambah kacang hijau dan air cucian beras dan mendapatkan konsentrasi eco-enzyme diperkaya kecambah kacang hijau dan air cucian beras yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik pada tanaman tomat. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi mulai dari tanggal 1 juli 2024 hingga 25 November 2024. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), dengan 5 taraf perlakuan pada konsentrasi eco-enzyme diperkaya kecambah kacang hijau dan air cucian beras yaitu, p0= 0 mL Lˉ1 , p1= 15 mL Lˉ12, p₂= 30 mL Lˉ1, p₃= 45 mL Lˉ1, dan p₄= 60 mL Lˉ1. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali, sehingga terdapat sebanyak 25 satuan percobaan. Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 12 tanaman, dan dari 12 tanaman dalam setiap satuan percobaan diambil 4 tanaman sampel. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA), dan untuk melihat perbedaan antar perlakuan menggunakan uji DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) pada taraf p = 0,05 Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tanaman tomat varietas Gustavi F1 memberikan respon terhadap pemberian eco-enzyme diperkaya dengan kecambah kacang hijau dan air cucian beras berdasarkan variabel tinggi tanaman, umur mulai berbunga, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, dan bobot buah per buah. 2) Aplikasi eco-enzyme diperkaya kecambah kacang hijau dan air cucian beras dengan konsentrasi 60 mL Lˉ1 memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman dan umur mulai berbunga. Selain itu, pada konsentrasi 45 mL Lˉ1 memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman dan bobot buah per buah. Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) is one of the horticultural commodities with high economic value that can grow well in both highlands and lowlands. In Jambi Province, tomato productivity is still constrained by low land fertility due to the dominance of ultisol soil. The use of organic fertilizers is a potential solution to overcome this problem because organic fertilizers can improve soil quality, reduce dependence on inorganic fertilizers, and support sustainable agriculture. One of the organic fertilizers that can be used as an alternative is eco-enzyme enriched with the addition of mung bean sprouts and rice washing water. This study aims to study the response of tomato plants to the administration of eco-enzyme enriched with mung bean sprouts and rice washing water and to obtain the concentration of eco-enzyme enriched with mung bean sprouts and rice washing water that can provide the best growth and yield in tomato plants. This experiment was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi from July 1, 2024 to November 25, 2024. The design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK), with 5 levels of treatment at the concentration of eco-enzyme enriched with mung bean sprouts and rice washing water, namely, p0 = 0 mL Lˉ1, p1 = 15 mL Lˉ12, p₂ = 30 mL Lˉ1, p₃ = 45 mL Lˉ1, and p₄ = 60 mL Lˉ1. Each treatment was repeated 5 times, so that there were 25 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 12 plants, and from 12 plants in each experimental unit, 4 sample plants were taken. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA, and to see the differences between treatments using DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at p = 0.05 The results showed that 1) Tomato plants of the Gustavi F1 variety responded to the administration of eco-enzyme enriched with mung bean sprouts and rice washing water based on the variables of plant height, age at flowering, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per fruit. 2) Application of eco-enzyme enriched with mung bean sprouts and rice washing water with a concentration of 60 mL Lˉ1 gave the best results for plant height and age at flowering. In addition, at a concentration of 45 mL Lˉ1 gave the best results for the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per fruit.
