Abstract

Mega Hotma Justina Pakpahan, Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Volume Ekspor Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Indonesia Ke Malaysia 2003-2022. Dibimbing oleh Bapak Prof. Dr. Ir. Zulkifli Alamsyah, M.Sc. dan Ibu Gina Fauzia, S.P., M.Si. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan ekspor nonmigas Indonesia yang memiliki kontribusi penting terhadap perekonomian nasional. Malaysia dipilih sebagai negara tujuan penelitian karena merupakan salah satu produsen utama sekaligus mitra dagang strategis. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April 2024. Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan perkembangan volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke Malaysia tahun 2003–2022, serta 2) Menganalisis pengaruh produksi CPO domestik, harga riil, nilai tukar riil, produksi CPO Malaysia, dan harga minyak goreng sawit domestik terhadap volume ekspor CPO Indonesia ke Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik produksi CPO Indonesia, harga riil, nilai tukar riil, dan harga minyak goreng sawit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor, sedangkan produksi CPO Malaysia tidak berpengaruh nyata secara statistik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi peningkatan volume ekspor dapat difokuskan pada optimalisasi produksi domestik dan pengendalian variabel-variabel harga dan nilai tukar. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan yang diarahkan pada stabilisasi harga dan peningkatan daya saing CPO Indonesia menjadi penting untuk memperkuat posisi ekspor di pasar global. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is one of Indonesia's leading non-oil and gas export commodities, playing a vital role in the national economy. This study aims to: (1) Describe the development of Indonesia's CPO export volume to Malaysia from 2003 to 2022, and (2) Analyze the influence of domestic CPO production, real prices, real exchange rates, Malaysia's CPO production, and domestic palm cooking oil prices on Indonesia’s CPO export volume to Malaysia. The research was conducted in April 2024 using a descriptive quantitative approach through multiple linear regression analysis. Malaysia was selected as the destination country due to its role as a major producer and strategic trading partner of Indonesia. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that: (1) The volume of Indonesia’s CPO exports to Malaysia fluctuated during the 2003–2022 period, influenced by various domestic and global economic factors. (2) Statisticly, the variables of Indonesia’s CPO production, real prices, real exchange rates, and domestic palm cooking oil prices had a significant effect on export volume. In contrast, Malaysia's CPO production did not show a statistically significant impact. These findings highlight the importance of optimizing domestic production and stabilizing price and exchange rate variables to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian CPO in the export market, particularly to Malaysia.
