Abstract
Penelitian ini berangkat dari masalah yang ditemukan peneliti terkait rendahnya kesadaran politik siswa di SMAN 2 Kerinci yang tercermin dari hasil kuesioner awal. Dari 30 siswa yang disebarkan kuesioner, hanya 42% yang menunjukkan pengetahuan yang baik tentang politik, sementara 19% mencerminkan sikap rendah, dan 27% menunjukkan pola perilaku yang kurang aktif dalam berpolitik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) tema suara demokrasi dalam membangun kesadaran politik siswa, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendorong yang mendukung proses tersebut. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) tema suara demokrasi secara signifikan membangun kesadaran politik siswa di kelas 12 SMAN 2 Kerinci. Melalui pengalaman langsung dalam proses pemilihan ketua OSIS, siswa belajar memahami hak dan kewajiban mereka sebagai warga negara, serta pentingnya berpartisipasi aktif dalam demokrasi. Selain itu, faktor-faktor pendorong seperti partisipasi aktif siswa, membangun rasa percaya diri, kemampuan komunikasi siswa, serta meningkatkan kesadaran tentang demokrasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) tema suara demokrasi secara signifikan dapat membangun kesadaran politik siswa di kelas 12 SMAN 2 Kerinci. This study started from the problem found by the researcher related to the low political awareness of students at SMAN 2 Kerinci which was reflected in the results of the initial questionnaire. Of the 30 students who were given questionnaires, only 42% showed good knowledge of politics, while 19% reflected low attitudes, and 27% showed less active behavioral patterns in politics. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of democratic voices in building students' political awareness, as well as identifying the driving factors that support the process. The approach in this study used a qualitative approach using a descriptive qualitative research type. Data were obtained through interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of democratic voices significantly builds students' political awareness in grade 12 of SMAN 2 Kerinci. Through direct experience in the OSIS chairman election process, students learn to understand their rights and obligations as citizens, as well as the importance of actively participating in democracy. In addition, driving factors such as active student participation, building self-confidence, student communication skills, and increasing awareness of democracy. It can be concluded that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of the voice of democracy can significantly build political awareness of students in class 12 of SMAN 2 Kerinci.
