Abstract
The nibung tree has long been utilized by the community in Kabupaten East Tanjung Jabung Regency. Almost all parts of nibung can be utilized starting from the stem, fruit to the leaves. With the utilization of nibung in large utilization of nibung in large quantities without any cultivation activities by the community causes the availability of nibung in nature to decrease. the availability of nibung in nature is decreasing. This research focuses on analysis of nibung (Oncosperma tigillarium) habitat vegetation in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Jabung Timur Regency. The results showed that the total number of tree-level plant species recorded was 5 species consisting of 5 species. recorded as many as 5 species consisting of 5 families with the highest Index of Importance (INP) found in the village. (INP) is highest in sadu village with only 1 tree species found with a value of 300%. The existence of other types of vegetation in the nibung community, play a role in the growth and spread of nibung plants. the spread of nibung plants, this is evidenced by the still large number of nibung growth in the Sabak City Forest, in addition to the growth of nibung in the Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency is only found around plantations and residential areas. in residential areas. An overview of nibung vegetation is obtained by utilizing drone imagery, the use of drones can provide validation of the validation of nibung habitat growth, because drone cameras have the ability to provide various types of information clearly, such as number and type of vegetation.
