Abstract
Amphibians are important indicators that are sensitive to environmental changes, so their presence is very important to assess the health of the ecosystem. The area of PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia Jambi Region has a diversity of habitats such as natural forests, bushes, and oil palm plantations. However, human activities such as land conversion into oil palm plantations cause damage to natural habitats and affect the presence and diversity of amphibians. Collecting data on species and habitat conditions is very important to support conservation efforts, considering the diversity of amphibians that act as bioindicators and important parts of the ecosystem. This research was conducted in January - February 2025 at PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia, Jambi Region using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) and Capture Mark Recapture (CMR) methods combined with the line transect method of purposive sampling. There were 6 transect paths with 2 repetitions on each path. The data analysis used was the species diversity index, species evenness index, species richness index and community similarity index. The results of the study showed the diversity of amphibian species found in three types of habitats at PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia Jambi Region as many as 175 individuals, 22 species, 6 families. The value of species diversity (H ') in the bushes showed H '= 2.315 (moderate), natural forests showed H '= 2.273 (moderate), and oil palm plantations showed H '= 2.129 (moderate). The value of species evenness (E) in the bushes showed E = 0.885 (high), natural forests showed E = 0.839 (high), and oil palm plantations showed E = 0.857 (high). The value of species richness (Dmg) in the bushes showed E = 3.273 (low), natural forests showed E = 3.379 (low), and oil palm plantations 2.981 showed E = (low). In addition, the level of community similarity (IS) between habitats, which ranges from 11.65% - 16.29% which is included in the low category indicating differences in species composition in each habitat. Habitat conditions in three types of habitats at PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia Jambi Region still guarantee the growth and reproduction of amphibian species Habitat conditions support the life of amphibians, with air temperatures of 26.1˚C - 28.5˚C, humidity of 65% - 73%, air temperature of 25.5˚C - 28.5˚C, and air pH of 6.54 - 7.46. These data indicate that the research location has suitable habitat and temperature conditions to support the survival of amphibians in the area. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia Wilayah Jambi sebanyak 175 individu, 22 spesies, 6 famili.
