Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) termasuk dalam golongan tanaman hortikultura. Pakcoy mengandung banyak nutrisi yang dibutuhkan tubuh serta memiliki banyak manfaat bagi tubuh. Budidaya tanaman pakcoy secara hidroponik merupakan budidaya tanaman tanpa tanah dengan menggunakan medium air yang merupakan salah satu budidaya dengan pemanfaatan perkarangan yang lebih efisien (tidak memerlukan lahan yang luas). Faktor penting dalam budidaya hidroponik adalah larutan nutrisi. Nutrisi digunakan dalam hidroponik disebut dengan nutrisi AB Mix. Nutrisi AB Mix yang tersedia umumnya memiliki harga yang cukup tinggi. Sehingga diperlukan alternatif lain yaitu dengan memanfaatan kulit pisang lilin (Musa paradisiaca L.) sebagai pupuk organik cair yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair kulit pisang lilin (Musa paradisiaca L.) dan AB Mix serta untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi terbaik pada pemberian pupuk organik cair kulit pisang lilin (Musa paradisiaca L.) dan AB Mix terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) secara hidroponik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan Rumah Kasa Teaching And Research Farm Fakultas Pertaniaan, Universitas Jambi pada bulan Januarri hingga Maret 2025. Penelitian ini menggunkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 taraf perlakuan yaitu k0: 100% AB Mix, k1: 80% AB Mix + 20% POC Kulit Pisang Lilin, k2: 60% AB Mix + 40% POC Kulit Pisang Lilin, k3: 40% AB Mix + 60% POC Kulit Pisang Lilin, k4: 20% AB Mix + 80% POC Kulit Pisang Lilin, k5: 100% POC Kulit Pisang Lilin. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapat 24 satuan percobaan (24 box hidroponik). Setiap satu box hidroponik terdapat 6 tanaman pakcoy dengan 3 tanaman sebagai sampel. Total keseluruhan tanaman dari 24 box hidroponik ini adalah 144 tanaman serta 72 tanaman sebagai sampel. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan DMRT taraf 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian POC kulit pisang lilin dan AB Mix pada tanaman pakcoy berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang akar, bobot segar dan bobot konsumsi dengan konsentrasi 100% AB Mix yang menunjukkan efektivitas tertinggi dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi lainnya. ABSTRACT Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) is classified as a horticultural crop. Pakcoy contains many nutrients and has numerous benefits for the body. Pakcoy cultivation can be done conventionally or hydroponically. Hydroponic cultivation uses a water medium and the addition of essential nutrients. An important factor in hydroponic cultivation is the nutrient solution. The nutrient used in hydroponics is called AB Mix nutrient. AB Mix nutrient is generally relatively expensive, so an alternative is needed to replace the use of AB Mix nutrient gradually, namely by utilizing banana peel (Musa paradisiaca L.) as an environmentally friendly organic liquid fertilizer. This study aims to examine the effect of applying banana peel organic liquid fertilizer (Musa paradisiaca L.) and AB Mix and to obtain the best concentration of banana peel organic liquid fertilizer (Musa paradisiaca L.) and AB Mix on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) in hydroponics. This research was conducted at the Screen house Teaching And Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University from January to March 2025. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatment levels, namely k0: 100% AB Mix, k1: 80% AB Mix + 20% banana peel organic liquid fertilizer, k2: 60% AB Mix + 40% banana peel organic liquid fertilizer, k3: 40% AB Mix + 60% banana peel organic liquid fertilizer, k4: 20% AB Mix + 80% banana peel organic liquid fertilizer, k5: 100% banana peel organic liquid fertilizer. The treatment was repeated 4 times, resulting in 24 experimental units (24 hydroponic box). Each hydroponic box contained 6 pakcoy plants, with 3 plants designated as samples. The totaal of plants from the 24 hydroponic nox was 144 plants with 72 plants as samples. The obtained data were analyzed using ANOVA and DMRT as a level 5%. Based on the research results, it showed that the application of banana peel organic liquid fertilizer and AB Mix on pakcoy plants had an effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, root length, fresh weight, and consumtion weight, with a concentration of 100% AB Mix showing the highest effectiveness compared to other concentrations.
