Abstract
Kedelai merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman pangan berbasis biji-bijian yang kaya akan protein nabati, lemak, vitamin dan menjadi tanaman pangan terpenting ketiga setelah padi dan jagung yang berperan dalam rangka peningkatan gizi masyarakat karena aman bagi kesehatan. Rendahnya produktivitas kedelai di Provinsi Jambi disebabkan oleh teknik budidaya yang kurang maksimal, varietas yang kurang unggul, variasi iklim yang tidak menentu, serangan hama penyakit tanaman, dan lahan kering masam seperti tanah Ultisol. Penggunaan pupuk organik seperti kompos kulit kopi merupakan solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jambi, Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Provinsi Jambi pada ketinggian tempat ±35 mdpl dan dilakukan pada bulan November - Januari 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 1 faktor, yaitu kompos kulit kopi (K) dengan 7 taraf perlakuan, yaitu: k0 = Tanpa Pemberian kompos kulit kopi k1 = 5 ton ha–1 (1.8 kg per petak) k2 = 10 ton ha–1 (3.6 kg per petak) k3 = 15 ton ha–1 (5.4 kg per petak) k4 = 20 ton ha–1 (7.2 kg per petak) k5 = 25 ton ha–1 (9.0 kg per petak) k6 = 30 ton ha–1 (10.8 kg per petak). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, sidik ragam, dan DMRT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian perlakuan kompos kulit kopi memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, bobot biji per tanaman, dan hasil per hektar namun belum berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot 100 biji. Pemberian kompos kulit kopi 30 ton ha–1 merupakan dosis terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai pada tanah Ultisol. Soybean is one of the grain-based food crop commodities that is rich in vegetable protein, fat, vitamins and is the third most important food crop after rice and corn which plays a role in improving community nutrition because it is safe for health. The low productivity of soybeans in Jambi Province is caused by less than optimal cultivation techniques, less superior varieties, unpredictable climate variations, plant pest and disease attacks, and acidic dry land such as Ultisol soil. The use of organic fertilizers such as coffee skin compost is a solution to solve these problems. Conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi, Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province at an altitude of ±35 meters above sea level and conducted in November - January 2025. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 1 factor, namely coffee skin compost (K) with 7 treatment levels, namely: k0 = Without giving coffee skin compost k1 = 5 ton ha-1 (1.8 kg per plot) k2 = 10 ton ha-1 (3.6 kg per plot) k3 = 15 ton ha-1 (5.4 kg per plot) k4 = 20 ton ha-1 (7.2 kg per plot) k5 = 25 ton ha-1 (9.0 kg per plot) k6 = 30 ton ha-1 (10.8 kg per plot). The data obtained were analyzed using normality tests, analysis of variance, and DMRT at 5% level. The results showed that the provision of coffee skin compost treatment had a significant effect on the variables of plant height, number of primary branches, number of pods per plant, number of filled pods per plant, seed weight per plant, and yield per hectare but had no significant effect on the weight of 100 seeds. The provision of 30 tons of coffee skin compost was ha-1 the best dose in increasing the growth and yield of soybeans on Ultisol soil.
