Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan gambaran proses agroindustri dalam pengolahan limbah kelapa sawit menjadi pupuk kompos di Desa Dataran Kempas Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi dan 2) menganalisis nilai tambah pupuk kompos di Desa Dataran Kempas Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi. Limbah kelapa sawit sebagai bahan baku kompos berpotensi menghasilkan nilai ekonomis dan manfaat bagi pertumbuhan tanaman. Ketersediaan pelepah kelapa sawit yang sangat banyak karena luas perkebunan sawit di Desa Dataran Kempas mencapai ±430 ha. pemanfaatan pelepah kelapa sawit dalam pembuatan pupuk kompos memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan serta menambah pendapatan masyarakat sehingga perlu diketahui berapa nilai tambah yang diperoleh. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer berupa jumlah dan biaya produksi pupuk kompos selama satu kali produksi pada bulan Agustus Tahun 2024. Analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran proses produksi dan analisis kuantitatif untuk menghitung nilai tambah melalui metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) agroindustri pupuk kompos bekerjasama dengan PT Wirakarya Sakti dalam melakukan pemasaran dengan sistem vendor yang diberikan per 6 bulan, rata-rata penggunaan bahan baku sebanyak 66.667 kg/proses produksi. 2) produksi rata-rata yang dihasilkan agroindustri pupuk kompos sebesar 350.000/kelompok/proses produksi. Nilai tambah merupakan persentase nilai tambah dari nilai output diperoleh sebesar 2,203% menghasilkan keuntungan usaha sebesar 2,164%/kelompok/proses produksi. This study aims to: 1) describe the picture of the agroindustry process in processing palm oil waste into compost in Dataran Kempas Village, Tebing Tinggi District and 2) analyze the added value of compost in Dataran Kempas Village, Tebing Tinggi District. Palm oil waste as a raw material for compost has the potential to produce economic value and benefits for plant growth. The availability of oil palm fronds is very large because the area of oil palm plantations in Dataran Kempas Village reaches ± 430 ha. The use of oil palm fronds in making compost has a positive impact on the environment and increases community income, so it is necessary to know how much added value is obtained. The data used in this study are primary data in the form of the amount and cost of compost fertilizer production during one production in August 2024. Data analysis is descriptive analysis to provide an overview of the production process and quantitative analysis to calculate added value using the Hayami method. The results of the study show that: 1) the compost fertilizer agro-industry collaborates with PT Wirakarya Sakti in marketing with a vendor system that is given every 6 months, the average use of raw materials is 66,667 kg/production process. 2) the average production produced by the compost fertilizer agroindustry is 350,000/group/production process. Added value is the percentage of added value from the output value obtained by 2.203% resulting in a business profit of 2.164%/group/production process.
