Abstract

Latar Belakang : Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan gangguan proses metabolisme gula darah yang berlangsung kronis ditandai dengan tingginya kadar gula darah. Diabetes melitus dapat menimbulkan komplikasi mikrovaskular dan komplikasi makrovaskular. Salah satu komplikasi mikrovaskular yang ditimbulkan yaitu retinopati diabetik. Retinopati diabetik (RD) yaitu suatu kelainan mata pada pasien diabetes melitus yang disebabkan karena kerusakan kapiler retina dalam berbagai tingkatan, sehingga menimbulkan gangguan penglihatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui gambaran karakteristik pasien retinopati diabetik di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Kota Jambi. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional menggunakan data rekam medis pasien retinopati diabetik di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Kota Jambi tahun 2023. Hasil : Terdapat 31 jumlah pasien retinopati diabetik di RSUD H. Abdul Manap dari Juli-Desember 2023, sebanyak 6 pasien diekslusikan karena tidak memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Didapatkan kategori terbanyak pada umur 51-60 tahun 13 orang (52%). Jenis kelamin terbanyak pada perempuan 19 orang (76%). Tekanan darah terbanyak 120-139 atau 80-89 mmHg 9 orang (36%). Kolesterol total terbanyak 200-239 mg/dL 11 orang (44%). Kolesterol LDL terbanyak 130-159 mg/dL 8 orang (32%). Kolesterol HDL terbanyak >40 mg/dL sebanyak 17 orang (68%). Gula darah sewaktu terbanyak >200 mg/dL 17 orang (68%). Tajam penglihatan <6/60 16 orang (64%). Klasifikasi terbanyak retinopati diabetik proliferative 11 orang (45,8%) Kesimpulan : Karakteristik pasien retinopati diabetik terbanyak umur 51-60 tahun, Jenis kelamin perempuan, tekanan darah 120-139 atau 80-89 mmHg, kolesterol total 200-239 mg/dL, Kolesterol LDL 130-159 mg/dL, Kolesterol HDL terbanyak >40 mg/dL, gula darah sewaktu >200 mg/dL, tajam penglihatan <6/60 Klasifikasi retinopati diabetik proliferative. Kata Kunci : Diabetes melitus, Retinopati diabetik, Karakteristik pasien. Background : Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disorder of the blood sugar metabolism process characterized by high blood sugar levels. Diabetes mellitus can cause microvascular complications and macrovascular complications. One of the microvascular complications that arises is diabetic retinopathy. Diabetic retinopathy is an eye disorder in diabetes mellitus patients that is caused by damage to retinal capillaries at various levels, resulting in visual impairment. This study aims to determine the characteristics of diabetic retinopathy patients at H. Abdul Manap Hospital, Jambi City. Methods : This research uses a descriptive observational method with a cross sectional approach using medical record data from diabetic retinopathy patients at H. Abdul Manap Hospital, Jambi City in 2023. Results : There were 31 diabetic retinopathy patients at H. Abdul Manap Regional Hospital from July-December 2023, 6 patients were excluded because they did not meet the inclusion criteria. The largest category was found to be 51- 60 years old, 13 people (52%). The majority of genders were women, 19 people (76%). The highest blood pressure was 120-139 or 80-89 mmHg in 9 people (36%). The highest total cholesterol was 200-239 mg/dL in 11 people (44%). The highest LDL cholesterol was 130-159 mg/dL in 8 people (32%). The highest HDL cholesterol was >40 mg/dL in 17 people (68%). The most frequent blood sugar was >200 mg/dL in 17 people (68%). Visual acuity <6/60 16 people (64%). The highest classification of proliferative diabetic retinopathy was 11 people (45.8%) Conclusion : Characteristics of diabetic retinopathy patients: Age 51-60 years, female, blood pressure 120-139 or 80-89 mmHg, total cholesterol 200-239 mg/dL, LDL cholesterol 130-159 mg/dL, HDL cholesterol >40 mg /dL, instant blood sugar >200 mg/dL, visual acuity <6/60 Classification of retinopathy proliferative diabetes.
