Abstract

Latar belakang: Proses produksi ikan asap berpotensi menimbulkan kecelakaan, terutama oleh UMKM yang dikelola Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) kerap menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja akibat tidak digunakannya alat pelindung diri (APD). Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan dan mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab kecelakaan kerja pada UMKM ikan asap yang dikelola oleh komunitas SAD dan masyarakat umum. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi komparatif dan teknik total sampling. Sampel berjumlah 20 pekerja, terdiri dari 8 pekerja dari komunitas SAD di Kabupaten Bungo dan 12 pekerja dari masyarakat umum di Kota Sungai Penuh. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Variabel yang diteliti adalah umur, pencahayaan, pengetahuan K3, dan penggunaan APD. Analisis data secara deskriptif dan analitik menggunakan t-test Independent dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan K3 dengan kecelakaan kerja pada kelompok SAD (p=0,022), namun tidak ada hubungan pada masyarakat umum (p=0,191). Semakin rendah tingkat pengetahuan K3 semakin tinggi kemungkinan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja, dan sebaliknya. Tidak ada hubungan antara umur, pencahayaan, dan penggunaan APD terhadap kecelakaan kerja di kedua kelompok. Secara deskriptif, seluruh variabel menunjukkan ada perbedaan faktor risiko kecelakaan kerja antara komunitas SAD dan masyarakat umum. Kesimpulan: Pengetahuan K3 yang rendah merupakan faktor yang berhubungan terhadap kecelakaan kerja pada pekerja komunitas SAD. Disarankan dilakukan upaya peningkatan pengetahuan K3 melalui pelatihan sederhana yang sesuai karakteristik dan budaya komunitas SAD. Kata Kunci: Kecelakaan Kerja, K3, Ikan Asap, Komparasi, SAD Background: The smoked fish production process has the potential to cause accidents, especially by MSMEs managed by Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) which often cause work accidents due to the lack of use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This study aims to compare and identify the factors causing work accidents in smoked fish MSMEs managed by the SAD community and the general public. Methods: Quantitative research with comparative study design and total sampling technique. The sample consisted of 20 workers, consisting of 8 workers from the SAD community in Bungo Regency and 12 workers from the general public in Sungai Penuh City. Data were collected by interview using a questionnaire. The variables studied were age, lighting, K3 knowledge, and use of PPE. Data analysis was descriptive and analytical using the Independent t-test and Mann-Whitney. Results: There is a relationship between K3 knowledge and work accidents in the SAD group (p=0.022), but there is no relationship in the general public (p=0.191). The lower the level of K3 knowledge, the higher the likelihood of work accidents, and vice versa. There is no relationship between age, lighting, and use of PPE and work accidents in both groups. Descriptively, all variables show differences in work accident risk factors between the SAD community and the general public. Conclusion: Low knowledge of K3 is a factor related to work accidents in SAD community workers. It is recommended that efforts be made to improve K3 knowledge through simple training that is appropriate to the characteristics and culture of the SAD community.
