Abstract
Transjakarta Corridor 13, which operates on an elevated route between Tegal Mampang and Ciledug, plays a vital role in supporting Jakarta’s public transportation network. This paper evaluates the corridor’s operational performance by employing two benchmark standards: the BRT Standard 2024 developed by the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) and the Indonesian national regulation SK.687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002 issued by the Directorate General of Land Transportation. Using a case study approach, the research combines field observations, operational measurements, and document-based scoring analysis to assess both qualitative and quantitative aspects. The findings indicate that while Corridor 13 demonstrates strengths in dedicated right-of-way, service frequency, and platform-level boarding, it still faces challenges in areas such as pedestrian accessibility, intersection treatments, and non-motorized integration. The final BRT Standard score of 72.64 places the corridor in the “Silver” classification. This study concludes by highlighting the need for targeted infrastructure improvements and service refinements to enhance user experience and promote inclusive, sustainable urban mobility. The results contribute to broader efforts in assessing BRT corridor performance within the context of developing urban transit systems in Southeast Asia.
