Kendala yang dialami yaitu ketidakyakinan atas kemampuan diri maupun pilihan karir yang akan dipilih, serta minimnya kepercayaan diri mereka. Grit menjadi salah satu faktor non kognitif yang sangat berpengaruh dengan keberhasilan dan prestasi akademik maupun non akademik. Selain itu, Grit berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa untuk dapat memiliki Career Decission Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) yang tinggi. Sehingga, dapat membantu mereka membuat pilihan karir yang terbaik. TUJUAN : Untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Grit terhadap Career Decission Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) pada siswa SMA yang berprestasi di Kota Jambi. METODE : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Responden penelitian adalah 105 orang siswa berprestasi di Kota Jambi yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data terdiri dari Grit Scale dan skala CDMSE. HASIL : Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Grit terhadap Career Decission Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) pada siswa SMA yang berprestasi di Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi sederhana didaptkan nilai R yaitu sebesar 0,572 dan nilai R Square sebesar 0,328 (F = 50,178; t = 7,084; Sig p = 0,000 < 0,05). Artinya Grit memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Career Decission Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE), dengan persentase kontribusi sebesar 32,8% dan 67,2% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. KESIMPULAN : Adanya pengaruh antara Grit terhadap Career Decission Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) pada siswa SMA yang berprestasi di Kota Jambi. Gambaran mayoritas siswa SMA berprestasi di Kota Jambi memiliki tingkat Grit dan Career Decission Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) yang sedang. The obstacles experienced are uncertainty in their abilities and career choices to be chosen, as well as their lack of confidence. Grit is one of the non-cognitive factors that greatly affects academic and non-academic success and achievement. In addition, Grit contributes to increasing students' confidence to be able to have a high Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE). So, it can help them make the best career choice. OBJECTIVE: To determine the influence of Grit on Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) in outstanding high school students in Jambi City. METHOD : This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The study respondents were 105 outstanding students in Jambi City who were selected using purposive sampling. The instruments for collecting data consist of the Grit Scale and the CDMSE scale. RESULTS: There was a significant influence between Grit on Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) in high school students who excelled in Jambi City. Based on the results of the simple regression test, the R value was 0.572 and the R Square value was 0.328 (F = 50.178; t = 7.084; Sig p = 0.000 < 0.05). This means that Grit has a significant positive influence on Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE), with a percentage of contribution of 32.8% and the remaining 67.2% influenced by other variables. CONCLUSION: There is an influence between Grit on Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE) in high school students who excel in Jambi City. The picture is that the majority of outstanding high school students in Jambi City have a moderate level of Grit and Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy (CDMSE).
