Abstract
TEGGU PEBRIANTO SIANTURI, Analisis Efisiensi Pemasaran Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Petani Swadaya di Kecamatan Bajubang Kabupaten Batanghari. Dibimbing oleh Prof. Dr. Ir. Dompak MT Napitupulu, M.Sc. dan Ibu Karina Rahmah, S.P,. M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi pemasaran tandan buah segar (TBS) kelapa sawit petani swadaya di Kecamatan Bajubang, Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan indikator margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya (π/c). Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kuesioner kepada 66 petani dan pedagang pengumpul, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga saluran pemasaran utama, yaitu: (1) Petani → Pedagang Pengumpul Desa (Tengkulak) → Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS), (2) Petani → Pedagang Pengumpul Besar (Peron) → PKS dan (3) Petani → Pedagang Pengumpul Desa (Tengkulak) → Pedagang Pengumpul Besar (Peron) → PKS. Saluran pemasaran I diperoleh margin pemasaran sebesar Rp 639, farmer’s share sebesar 80,09 dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya sebesar 1,37. Saluran pemasaran II diperoleh margin pemasaran sebesar Rp 453, farmer’s share sebesar 85,88 dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya sebesar 1,15. Saluran pemasaran III diperoleh margin pemasaran sebesar Rp 990, farmer’s share sebesar 70,56 dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya sebesar 1,48. Dari ketiga saluran tersebut, saluran ke II menunjukkan tingkat efisiensi paling efisien dengan margin pemasaran terendah, nilai farmer’s share tertinggi, dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya terkecil. Rendahnya efisiensi pada saluran I dan III disebabkan oleh panjangnya rantai pemasaran dan tingginya biaya distribusi. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar petani lebih memilih saluran pemasaran yang lebih pendek dan biaya distribusi rendah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. This study aims to analyze the marketing efficiency of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from independent smallholders in Bajubang District, Batanghari Regency. The study was conducted descriptively and quantitatively using marketing margin, farmer's share, and profit-to-cost ratio (π/c) indicators. Primary data were obtained through interviews and questionnaires with 66 farmers and traders, while secondary data came from relevant agencies. The results of the study show that there are three main marketing channels, namely: (1) Farmers → Village Collectors (Middlemen) → Palm Oil Mills (PKS), (2) Farmers → Large Collectors (Peron) → PKS and (3) Farmers → Village Collectors (Middlemen) → Large Collectors (Peron) → PKS. Marketing channel I obtained a marketing margin of Rp. 639, farmer's share of 80.09 and a profit to cost ratio of 1.37. Marketing channel II obtained a marketing margin of Rp. 453, farmer's share of 85.88 and a profit to cost ratio of 1.15. Marketing channel III obtained a marketing margin of Rp. 990, farmer's share of 70.56 and a profit to cost ratio of 1.48. Of the three channels, channel II demonstrates the highest level of efficiency, with the lowest marketing margin, the highest farmer's share, and the lowest profit-to-cost ratio. The low efficiency of channels I and III is due to the length of the marketing chain and high distribution costs. Therefore, it is recommended that farmers choose shorter marketing channels and lower distribution costs to increase income.
