Abstract
Indonesia merupakan produsen dan pengekspor utama minyak sawit dunia. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) memiliki peran strategis dalam industri pangan, kosmetik, dan energi. Di Jambi, kelapa sawit menjadi sumber ekonomi penting, namun tantangan seperti fluktuasi panen dan keterbatasan kapasitas pabrik membuat efisiensi produksi perlu ditingkatkan. PTPN IV Regional 4 turut mengalami kompleksitas serupa, sehingga dibutuhkan pendekatan matematis untuk memaksimalkan produksi secara efektif. Pemrograman nonlinier dipilih dalam penelitian ini karena hubungan antar variabel produksi tidak selalu linier. Metode Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) digunakan untuk menyelesaikan model optimalisasi dengan kendala pertidaksamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memodelkan proses produksi CPO dan mencari solusi optimal berdasarkan data tahun 2023, mencakup volume tandan buah segar yang diolah, jam kerja mesin, dan hasil produksi dari enam pabrik yang telah dikelompokkan berdasarkan kabupaten. Model matematis dibentuk dengan mendefinisikan variabel keputusan sebagai jumlah tandan buah segar yang diolah tiap pabrik per bulan. Fungsi tujuan berupa persamaan kuadratik disusun dari data historis menggunakan metode kuadrat terkecil. Kendala yang diterapkan mencakup batas minimum tandan buah segar dan batas maksimum jam olah gabungan 4.000 jam per bulan. Semua kendala diformulasikan dalam bentuk pertidaksamaan agar sesuai dengan metode KKT. Setelah syarat optimalitas disusun, metode Wolfe digunakan untuk menemukan solusi optimal. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa alokasi tandan buah segar terbaik menghasilkan total produksi CPO sebesar 20.064,49 ton per bulan. Model ini terbukti efektif dalam mempertimbangkan batasan nyata dan dapat dijadikan dasar pengambilan keputusan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi dan produksi CPO di PTPN IV Regional 4. Indonesia is one of the world's leading producers and exporters of palm oil. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) plays a strategic role in the food, cosmetics, and energy industries. In Jambi Province, palm oil is an important economic resource; however, challenges such as fluctuations in harvests and limited processing capacity require improvements in production efficiency. PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV (PTPN IV) Regional 4 also faces similar complexities, making a mathematical approach necessary to optimize production effectively. Nonlinear programming is applied in this study, as the relationship between production variables is not always linear. The Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) method is used to solve the optimization model with inequality constraints. This research aims to model the CPO production process and find optimal solutions based on 2023 data, which includes the volume of fresh fruit bunches processed, machine operating hours, and production output from six grouped processing plants across different districts. The mathematical model is developed by defining decision variables as the number of fresh fruit bunches processed by each plant per month. The objective function is formulated as a quadratic equation based on historical data, with parameter estimation using the least squares method. The constraints include the minimum processing volume of fresh fruit bunches and a maximum combined machine operating time of 4,000 hours per month. All constraints are expressed as inequalities to align with the KKT method. After determining the optimality conditions, the Wolfe method is used to obtain the optimal solution. The results indicate that the best allocation of fresh fruit bunches leads to a total optimal CPO production of 20,064.49 tons per month. This model proves effective in accounting for real operational limitations and can serve as a basis for strategic decision-making to enhance the efficiency of CPO distribution and production at PTPN IV Regional 4.
