Abstract

ABSTARK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan rasio ketergantungan, tingkat kemiskinan, dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera. Selain itu juga untuk menganalisis pengaruh rasio ketergantungan, tingkat kemiskinan, dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel, yaitu gabungan antara data time series tahun 2019-2024 dan data cross section pada 10 provinsi di Pulau Sumatera. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Model estimasi yang digunakan yaitu dengan model terbaik Fixed Effect Model dengan bantuan program E-views 12. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik, dan sumber-sumber lainnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil analisis regresi data panel dengan model Fixed Effect Model (FEM), diperoleh variabel rasio ketergantungan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat kemiskinan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan tingkat pengangguran terbuka berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Kata Kunci: PDRB, Tingkat Kemiskinan, Rasio Ketergantungan, Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the development of the dependency ratio, poverty rate, and open unemployment rate on economic growth on the island of Sumatra. In addition, it is also to analyze the influence of the dependency ratio, poverty rate, and open unemployment rate on economic growth on Sumatra Island. This study uses panel data, namely a combination of time series data for 2019-2024 and cross-section data in 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra. The analysis methods used in this research are descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. The estimation model used is the best Fixed Effect Model with the help of the E-views 12 program. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and other sources. The results of this study show the results of panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM), it was found that the dependency ratio variable had a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth, the poverty rate had a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth, and the open unemployment rate had a negative and significant effect on economic growth.
